Thanks for the responses and I'm glad I'm not the only one that has this issue.
I will download all the haks from the projects section and try to run world gate again.
Edit: World gate still did not work for me and I got the same error. However, thanks to Acadius putting up the link for the pwc I was able to download it and log on to the starting area without using World Gate at all.
Thanks for the help. I'll be wandering around checking out the server when I can over the next week or so before the server goes live. I'll report any bugs I find that haven't been reported yet.
Problems Connecing to server?

Reposting now that I see the proper place for it. Server appears to be up and occupied, ping 62, I got the PWC and ran worldgate smoothly. Using the NWN1 password. I keep getting a server timed out error.

Not sure what to say about the timeouts- the server's not losing connection to the finicky SQL server, so it's nothing as simple as flaky connection at my end or anything- Typically when I'm getting reports that people are timing out, others are able to get on without problems. When I reset my router (without changing any settings) and reload the module, it seems to help anyone who was waiting on timeouts get in, but that's kind of anecdotal at this point. This evening I flashed my router to newer firmware in hopes that that might be of help- one player who has had some problems got on fine, though it seems it's not helped others.
Best I can tell, only difference with this router setup from my last one is that I've got it set not to respond to internet ping attempts. If timeouts are still bothering people tomorrow, I'll try reenabling that and see if there is any change. Beyond that, I'm not sure what else to try- could move back to using 5127 as a port instead of 5121, but can't see why that would matter either.

I suppose that's small consolation to those that are still timing out, but sometimes that's life on the 'net.AcadiusLost wrote:Typically when I'm getting reports that people are timing out, others are able to get on without problems.
For what it's worth, the server is showing up in the PW Story listing, but is listed as Offline in my history tab (same IP address and port in both instances).
Is this going to be the "permanent" hosting solution for now, or is angel_caller going to be taking over?
Server went down, now back up but denying password.
