I just wanted to let everyone know that I'm still here. I was very excited about re-joining ALFA, but work and home-life have been conspiring (in a good way) to keep me offline. I got a pretty major promotion at work recently, and am also in the process of buying a new home. Hopefully, I will actually get the chance to roll up a toon and join in the fun sometime soon.

Team Helm, as Dergon mentioned earlier, is still open to new recruits, and in all honesty, level differences don't mean much when 90% of the fun is the RP with those around you. OK, I won't deny enjoying a good hack & slash whenever possible, but I have just as much fun teaching others the ropes of how not to earn a dirt nap and your name engraved on Sword Rock.

I realise that there are plenty of folks out there who prefer to play the dark side, but if you're of the light is right minded, you'll find a welcome in either the House Invincible or the House of the Rising Sun factions, and lots of great RPers, no matter where you go. I certainly wouldn't try to force you into playing a Helmite scout, paladin or battlemage if you don't want to, but you know you wanna play a goody-two-shoes, doncha?

Baldur's Gate could use some good guys also...but I don't think anyones yet figured out how to stay out of the dirt in BG. The upside is that there's plenty of opportunities to die heroically
