The RP was totally worth the loss of weapons. Although, the whole walk back to WE I was praying that Leof wouldn't walk into any nasty critters. He almost stumbled into a couble of bugbears i think; or hobgoblins for that matter.

I must say well done to Tathar, the roguish moon elf who managed to touch the lives of so many other characters and who's passing has evoked a rather astonishing amount of emotion.

Hats off to all those whose stories now grace the ALFA library based on out first month on TSM. It's very rewarding to see the characters being played with such depth and coming alive in this new setting.

Tathar was very well played, he had a sense of humour and was genuinely funny without crossing the line in to being a "joke" character, which I don't think is easy.

Hats off for playing a truly loathsome PC. I'm sad it wasn't me that got to slay the wretch.

I'm sad to see Tathar go without having been there to witness it. As always jmecha your level of RP is amazing.

I will add my voice to the chorus of those giving props to jmecha for Tathar. Well done.

On the other hand, anti-props to Mulu for gettin Grymbjorn killed - not that Grymbjorn wasn't a great character, he was - but he was writing my PC's saga and you went and got him killed!!! Now, no saga for me! Hmmph!

After the war there is kinda massive banite hate across the Silver Marches. You don't need to have broken a law to have people plotting your downfall, especially considering how open Barid has been about his worship :D
What war, Swift?
People talk of bestial cruelty, but that's a great injustice and insult to the beasts; a beast can never be so cruel as man, so artistically cruel.

Props to Nebojen for the way you rped your death. I felt really guilty, sad and a little disgusted, although I'm sure Anselmo didn't.

I wanted to thank both Alyssa's and Kari's players for a great time the other night. I haven't had such a good time, just schmoozing around a campfire, discussing ancient legends of the gods since back in the days of Haze V1, when I played a dwarf. It brought back memories of when the various clerics would give sermons or simply regail us with parables of when the world was new, helping us all become that much more immersed in our own characters and those around us.
(edit)
For some strange reason that never happened when I played any other race, on DFPW, Haze V1 or V2, or even NWN2HAZE. It seems that the constant backstabbing, mining, crafting, hunting and scavanging that life in the main-stream required was not as conducive an atmosphere as how in synch we were with our toons up in Dorftown, V1. The closest I ever had to anything like that was when one of my hins got into a very detailed and high-flying discussion on the merits of pipeweed, eventually turning into a scene that would have fit in perfectly in a Cheech & Chong movie. Still, it revovled around nothing more important than two hins' obsession with the last vestiges of pipeweed they had from before they were stranded for life on an ilse without any, rather than any religeous structuring of their lives. Ok, i know some of you readers will wonder where the difference lies, but I, for one, just say no to drugs, even if only in RL. :P

(/edit)

Benigan "Sparkhammer" deserves honorable mention, as well, for his well played disdain of Tymora, or her former self, due to ancestral, racial disgruntlement over gross abuse of his kinfolk. We did not have much time to go into detail, but thanks to the koomzits around the fire last night ,with Alyssa dn Kari, I gained more insight into how Benigan felt, and why.

Juggling ain't easy, and this is going to be fun trying to keep friendships in the air without them bashing into each other. :)
<paazin> Elves I bet are kinda fun to play.
<BH|werksux> I prefer the trumpet or clarinet

Props to Sintaqx and Creslyn for our brief magical interlude under the nighttime stars. A few VFX and some nice RP added up to a very enjoyable "Flavor Session".

Props also to Mishmash, for playing the finest cockney thug I've ever met.
Enjoy the game

MAJOR props to the player of Uncle Anselmo - for creating one of the most interesting characters on TSM, and for hard-core RPing all the way to the bitter end. Well done.
