Re: DM props

Post by Brother Humphrey »

I've been putting this off for some time, but I figure enough's enough. I want to thank every DM in ALFA for all the help and great work both behind the scenes and IG, over the past year and then some, bringing to life the dreams of every one of us so we can escape the dreariness that is RL. Major kudos all around.

On a more personal note, I wish to thank everyone involved in helping move Lem's own dream forward, be it with a bit of toolsetting, a bit of ingame direction and encouragement in his quest to better himself in the interests of House Invincible and his chosen patron, the Vigilant One. I wish to state for the record that I have not been disappointed or upset in the amount of time it took to bring this about, as it has afforded me plenty of RP opportunities leading up to it, and will lead to many more in the future. It's been a fun ride, and I'm greatful to each and every one who's participated along the way.

My only regret is that some of those involved are either mired down with RL trials and tribulations or are in the wrong parts of the world to enable me to meet up with them more often ingame.

May the Schwartz be with you all, and to all a good knight.

Big up to Aurum who planted the foot firmly on the accelerator of our campaign last night. It's getting fun!!! (and more likely to end up with me having to create a new character  )

Frackin' figgers! I decide to screw around with the OC and get some pr0n site's clicks boosted, and what happens? I miss a major donnybrook! *sighs* :wall:

Big props to Vendrin, for coming in to DM the winter-pack. And DMing for us is not an easy task - at least, we don't make it easy as our PCs are stubborn, opinionated, and a touch paranoid. But Vendrin rose to the challenge and we had a great time tonight. He also did a great job (I thought) of running an adventure that allowed my rather fragile little first level courtesan (who has a BAB of -1 outdoors, and who doesn't wear armor!) adventure along side Xujja, the tiefling bad-ass who cuts people in half for fun.

So, thanks Vendrin!!! :)

(P.S. I'd say you were hawt baby, but we're Auril worshippers, so you'll just have to live with being cool. Ciao!)

Agreed. Our first game last night was great

Again, agreed. We (me) are awfully hesitant to trust anything other than the falling snow, and Vendrin still did a great job of roping us into action based on our PCs feelings and loyalties. Very well done

Another great point. Hard to find things for a mixed group to do when they have several levels difference but it was handled quite nicely even with two level one PCs grouped up with our experienced adventurers. Everyone having a place and task in the story regardless of level was the best.

Excellent first game for Vendrin and the Aurilians. Strong RP, smart use of time management, and an AMBUSH!!! Can't wait for next time

Thanks to Rotku for stepping up to the plate and providing TSM with a very cool mystery plot that had almost no combat whatsoever. Was a very fun ride, in which my PC actually got to be more than a tank. I appreciate you letting me be involved, and I look forward to your future endeavors.

And in a similar vein, thanks to JLM for stepping up and giving us a taste of the saltier side of TSM. YARR!

I want to echo what Dan said. Rotku's recent plot was very enjoyable. I look forward to whatever he has in store next for the PCs of the TSM.

Also, kudos to JLM for already providing some intriguing RP and anxiety-provoking moments.

Thanks to both for stirring things up a bit! :D

What Dan said. I can't remember the last time I got a charge from a session like I did this afternoon. Then, just when things seemed to have settled, tonight he ratchets up the intensity without a shred of combat.

Let's hear it for JLM!!

Thanks to JLM and Curm for the love given to Team Law of late. IT is really helping to breathe life back into the faction and making my gaming very enjoyable! :)
