Re: Eurotime Natureboyz
Since timeslots don't seem to me meshing all that much maybe we should focus on the "hot spot" for us nature boyz and girlz to frequent in the efforts to get us grouped up for RPing and adventuring. As many have stated the ideal spots seems to be the most accessible crossroads toons are likely to pass by in their travels, and a spot that is both safe and nuetral in affiliation. To me the morrgate in SM seems to fit this criteria the most. Agree/disagree?

Agreed. Though we might need an extra tree or two... maybe we could rp out growing a specific meeting-tree.

I share your sentiments mate, but ey until its IG its not a fact and our PCs are able to shape this world. If you have plans and the rebuild of a village takes a long time.... Get them going I'm sure you'll find support or someone already doing something to achieve that same goal.I-KP wrote:Without delving into detail in a 'public' thread: plan tried for Q, plan failed for Q. We just couldn't get the DM time to make any of it stick despite recruitment to the cause and PMs-a-plenty, then Q got rebuilt by someone in the toolset which pretty much sounded the death knell on the plan; however, we did get some rather enticing vignettes c/o the mighty JLM which may still have some legs if we're looking for an angle to exploit. It is important to note that he was DMing outside of his comfortable timezone (I think), and although hugely appreciated, it was not regular to the slot and probably can't be relied upon for our new merry band of grubby folk if we actually intend to prosecute something more interesting than mere TRP[1]. Just a thought.
It would be nice to get something going. These city folk have had a free run for far too long. Time to call in the flower power.

Re: Eurotime Natureboyz
Slyvanie, Rathlan, and the Silvanus Druids as well as bids from the Dwarves of Felbar shaped the new Quearvarr btw. So it was a player effort to mold it into a canon village, not just my personal vision.
IF interested parties would have pressed the issues and shown up for the meetings (during Euro times) they might if had a say. But the few times there were those chances they either didnt come or sat on a stump somewhere refusing to play with others.

Re: Eurotime Natureboyz
Just to make clear what I meant to say:
Until it happens nothing can be taken for granted. A building is only a building when it is finished, until then it is a construction site.
If someone has plans , ideas, or thinks the course of something is not the right one for their PC, they should do whatever it is possible for their PC to move against it if their PC has the motivation to do it, even if it is most likely impossible to achieve.
[EDITED]
Maybe some of the PCs interested in being there, most likely could not make it there due to RL issues from their Players. Anyway most important thing is, be pro-active, work in your ideas, and inform your DM about them. Oh and be happy play and have fun

Re: Eurotime Natureboyz
I just thought this thread might need to be reminded of the OP.
I took this as a call to try and get the players on TSM with like minded toons playing at similar times together for some gold old fashion group play. Nothing more, nothing less.Happycrow wrote:And gurllz, I guess.
Noticed there are a LOT of rangers, nature priests, and druids on during Euro-time.
Maybe we could get something going? My schedule is wacky in the extreme, since my current gig is "no set time except evenings" sales (aka, probably work Euro evenings and get home around 1am GMT).
A ranger station/batcave/grove? Burn Querrvar to the ground and use it as a Treant Nursery? Just tossing out potential concepts and seeing who'd like to coordinate a bit better. I'm told that DM support in the timezone is VERY sparse... but on a purely character basis, surely we can knock something together.

Re: Eurotime Natureboyz
Not that I have gotten much playtime logged so far, what with most of my gaming time ending up dedicated Exodus-side, but sounds like my PC would fit in here rather well. If there's a (semi-)fixed timeslot decided, please do fill it in, I'd sure like to know.
From a purely selfish viewpoint knowing there'd be relevant people on to game with will surely make it more probable I'd actually log in. (And perhaps finally get me out of the low-level hole and being unable to travel and meet people, which has so far largely killed my attempts to game, admittedly half-hearted as those have been.)
Hmm ... lucky my char isn't that emo
