Reports have reached the TSM DM team of a possible CvC action being planned. All players are reminded that CvC actions have serious consequences, and that it is the responsibility of the instigating party to notify the HDM of the likely server on which the intended CvC action is to occur.

The applicable section of the ALFA Players Manual applies. In Game Behavior

Please note: DM Notification should be attempted in ALL cases. In premeditated CvC, DM Notification is mandated.

Please report ALL actual CvC events.

If the CvC is not premeditated, and postponement until a DM can be present would compromise RP, then a PM containing full information about the CvC must immediately be sent to the server HDM. It should be noted that such a PM will not protect a player from censure if the CvC is later found to have been illegal. If in-character events lead you to believe that your character may get involved in CvC, it’s a good idea to turn on chat logging functions.

I recommend use of GLR 5000: The Gnomish Log Rotator for saving chat logs.

Two notes: DM Notification means a DM for the server where the CvC is taking place or is to take place. Not all Admin members are DMs.
