Bug Thread - Rick's New Quests

Sorted a few argent legion sergeant convos, and linked up silverwood and Silverymoon Pass areas, in the currently hosted module. Uploading to the DMFTP as well as alfa003_tsm_041308_AL.rar

The High Hold sergeant now has a conversation script, but no conversation option to offer the supplies, and hence complete the quest.

The Argent Legion outpost in Silverwood has a broken AT and cannot be entered.

If Scurson (love the nod to DF) is supposed to complete the quest, he has no conversation option to do so.

The high priest in the catacombs still lacks a conversation script in the latest mod, so this quest is also still broken.

Ok, stopped off at Ravenwhatever on my way back to High Hold. I got the quest to bring supplies to High Hold. I got out of Ravenwhatever and wasnt one zone away when the server died. When I came back in I was set back to just outside the door of the Ravenwhatever building you get the quests. I first checked my inventory and the 100lbs. item was gone. The quest wasnt in my journal either. I talked to the NPC who gives the quest and he said that I should do the quest he gave me first before I can do another so he thinks I still have the quest and item.

I get to High Hold and talk to the person there but he doesnt recognize me as having the item and he wont talk to me about it. So, the server dump messed up the quest log and took the item and I cant complete it but the server thinks I am still in possession of them. Can this be fixed somehow so I can do this quest?

You might have to wait until AL gets set up at his new locale before he can reset the quest for you. It can be done though, I'm pretty sure.

Wouldn't it be easier to simply give him the quest bundle and see if he can complete it? You could probably log in as a player, take the quest and give the thing to the other player's toon, then trash the created pc.

just a suggestion. *shrugs* what do I know?

I checked this earlier today, and the shipment can be given directly to the PC. Will post in the DM Forum also.

thanks for looking into this. I wont be able to get on till after hours tonight so if anyone is on after 9:30-10pm cst that would be great. If not, Ill get it fixed whenever we can all get together. I cant play during business hours because of the way my computers are set up.

Yep, the quest works by checking for a military supplies item and a flag set when the quest is given. If the flag is set, you can't do another contract. The only way the flag is set back to 0 is when you deliver the supplies to the post sergeant. So the best solution is to give the supplies if you suddenly crash and lose them.
