Not sure if this is right forum but here goes
My Paladin recieved Aura of Courage feat on reaching level 3
The feat is lebeled AUTOMATIC
It says that all in group recieve +4 against fear
I can equipe the feat to quick slot and I can cast it....nothing seems to happen when I do...
Next to my portrait when I log on there is always a Persistant Aura logo.
Does this mean that anyone I group with automatically gets the +4 or do I have to cast..which seems to not have any effect....or could it be it only works when faced with fear...

It's automatic. I'm also almost sure it has an effective radius, so for anyone in your party to benefit from it, they need to be at a maximum distance from your PC.

It is normally automatic but sometimes after resting/ praying/ whatever it deactivates, so if those in your group don't have that nice bonus appearing near their portrait, recast it.

While (re-)playing the original campaign I learned that the Neverwinter Nine's protective Aura doesn't play nice with bardic inspirations. So it can actually be required to reactivate an aura if you have more of them.

Since it's yet another pally related question, I'll just use this thread.
Paladins get celestial as a free language like it says on the class description or you have to actually invest points in speak language (or have an INT bonus)?

Should be listed as an extra "bonus language" (meaning you have to use skill points or INT bonus to "pay" for it). If it says "Free Langauge", that's a typo of mine in the class description which will get sorted next time I'm updating haks.
It's basically in the same category as languages from a Ranger's favored enemies; available to be learned by paladins, but not automatically known by all paladins.

Eh.. not really sure about the wording. I glanced at it really fast when I had to used teh rebuild widget and never looked at it again. Thanks for the clarification though.

Now that ride is an actual skill. Do mounts come into play?

Is it possible that this is now officially ALFA's first "rideable horses" thread of the NWN2 era?

Alright, no one is to stone anyone until I blow this whistle. Even... and I want to make this absolutely clear... even if they do say, "Ridable Horses."

You poor poor bastards. . .
No where did I say anything about actual scripted riding horses. I just wanted to know if the ride skill actually comes into play or if paladins were actually granted a mount, like an animal companion, RP construct, or something similar.
ehe, currently horses aren't possible *takes out a wooden stake and kills the dead horse before it can arise once more*
Wild horses exist abundantly in Silverymoon.
Now if you want, I could discuss the relevance of all the other skills that we have been given but since I'm playing a paladin atm. . .
Now that I've clarified, go crawl back into the dank basements you weaseled out of.
