Though for perspective, the policy there, as I understand it, is that a special application must be made and approved by a majority of their DMs for each planetouched PC, complete with bio. This is one method of controlling the introduction of a few "alternate" race PCs, but not one that's terribly feasible for a large multiserver PW project that has several DM teams, and PCs free to travel between them. (and I'm aware that's projection to the future, but there is a difference in scope involved).

Also, I'd note that we're well deviated from Realmslore here, may want to lock or moderate this if it's going to turn into another planetouched policy debate, rather than lore on the prevalence of Tieflings or their interactions with Faerun society.
