Well, thought I'd make some enquiries concerning the Palidan order of Mystra known as the knight's of the mystic fire.. Has been a character concept I've been wanting to play for some time!! Am attempting it to some degree on another server and found that I'm doing a fair job of following cannon regarding the order.. But thought I'd see if anyone else had in depth knowledge relating to the order, it's color's, preferred weapon's! Whether or not it would fit in to the current vision of the realm's you all role play.. Thanks in advance..

This doesn't have all that much to do with Mystran paladins but I think you might find it useful: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apostrophe ... apostrophe

My thanks for your reply.. This link was the most I could find on the topic other than a brief mention in the Wiki..

Hope that help's some as I would have no idea how one would implement a few of the idea's they have in there.. But it certainly doesn't add much to what I already know regarding palidans and the like!!
Big thanks to Fromage regarding my improper use of punctuation! One of the privelages of age, I can butcher the english language and pretend I never learned kings english in school, lol.. Though I do at least attempt to spell properly!! But I've been known to mess that up on occasion as well!! I guess it must be an age thing, lol.. Though at 40 I'd hope I could still remember a little of the spelling I learned. Even if I forgot everything about proper grammer!! But I appreciate the reply and I did read a large segment of the wiki.. Though I must admit to becoming a bit bored of it after a minute or three!! What are we to do with the short attention span's of the 40 year old role play addict, oh my.. Have a great one, hope to see you in the game!!

Yep, all your lhaks needed for nwn1 are located in the link PL posted above...
Also, at least one, if not all remaining NWN1 servers will remain online as long as there is interest in them.

Well, I got all the hak's etc.. Even logged on with my lvl 01 palida.. Purchased my equipment and started out in Essembra!! Worked ok up to a point.. No open buildings, no people and eventually crashed and now keep's crashing every time I jump on!! Tried createing a new character with the same name but that crashed as well.. No idea what to try other than a new character with a completely different name!! Dunno if that would work any better or not.. Any idea's would be greatly appreciated??danielmn wrote:Yep, all your lhaks needed for nwn1 are located in the link PL posted above...

I didn't realise that Essembra was a start location on SD. ICly, I doubt your character would want to be there, given current events.
But yeah, perfectly reasonable that all of the buildings are locked up and/or empty, considering. You'll need a DM to port you to a different spot.
Might try joining #alfa-sd on IRC -- probably best bet at netting a DM from the server.

Storm, just a quick note on this link- I'm putting the music files on the site today, so if you want the optional music files, they will be there for you to download.
Currently otherwise occupied.

Knights of the Mystic Fire are supported by ALFA.
While the actual 'PrC' or whatever that you linked is not, Knights of the Mystic Fire are able to freely multiclass between Paladin and Wizard, by ALFA rules.
So while you won't be able to use dispel magic instead of remove disease (or whatever), you can make a PC, multiclass as a Pally/Wizard, and call yourself a Knight of the Mystic Order.

One could aspire to a membership in an order supported under the ALFA Players Manual, but finding NPCs willing to dole out the responsibilities (and I guess the rights?) would take teamwork with one's DMs.
Much like one wouldn't start a PC in Cormyr saying "my fighter 1 has been a Purple Dragon for the last 5 years... PS he needs a paycheque" without the DMs being into that. I.e., canon orders, organizations etc. may exist all over the place, but one doesn't declare themselves a member without a little consultation and help.
