Yeah, that's a big part of why I think a tool to keep track of them is important, and why I want to revise an existing one (like the chooser) to do it-- both for reduced clutter and superior visibility. Per Adanu, had to spawn a NPC rogue, possess, click spot to detect traps, then walk around until they showed up.
But confirming the state of placeables and placed effects-- you're currently not seeing anything default, but you're seeing everything custom (at least as far as you can see)? Exceptions, if they exist, would be helpful.
