Upon entering the server, I get (among others) the message

Now, apart from the "langugage" bit... what does that mean? Is it ment to represent my Gnomish ability to speak with burrowing mammals for 5 minutes per day? Or some sort of druidic ability I'm unaware of and if so: how is that supposed to be roleplayed?

You can speak to animals? I don't think there's any practical use for such a thing, but maybe it would be if a creature is possessed by a DM. Just a guess.

I can only imagine that the innate gnomish racial ability is the source of that, it's among the default bonus racial languages among the DMFI language scripts. These are customizable, and occationally included non-3.5E-canon rules (granting "cant" to rogue-level PCs, for example). We can remove it as a default if it is deemed inappropriate- sans DM, the only use would be to communicate with other gnomes (unless animal is selectable on character creation for druids as well, would have to check).
