Templates

Templates should be made for the following, each fully decked-out with appropriate accessories:

- Areas of each terrain type with the following:
--- Script Handles in Area Properties (spawns, weather, area cleanup)
--- Transition System

- Doors of each type with the following:
--- Scripts Handles in Door properties (close, trap reset, xp reward etc)
--- 3 varieties of strength

- Triggers:
--- Script Handles in Trigger Properties
--- Floating text announcements
--- Appropriate range of skill checks
--- Conversation OnEnter configuration

- NPCs:
--- Script Handles in NPC properties that include simple access to:
------ OnPerceive functionality (approach, flee, attack, hide etc)
------ Ambiance and Sit functionality

- Inn System:
--- Innkeeper with dialogue
--- Merchant with keys
--- Exits with key return functionality
--- Downstairs and Upstairs areas
--- Patrons and Waitresses

I'm out of time for now, but will be adding to this list. The old Base Module (I can't get it without the DM FTP) contains a bunch more useful systems like these.

If you know of more, please add them.

You should probably break this up and post them in the relevant object threads in this forum. The door strengths/hardness is actually something that tends to be very under used so I'm glad to see that in the list.

Also gona need good documentation of what the things do. The current basemod had good systems but not a lot of documentation in there respective commments section about what it did functionally and how to set up.

Not sure where to add them though, as they incoprorate multiple palettes.
