This may very well be hidden somewhere, or in the works but...
How about a function (similar to the rename thingy) that would let the DM change the flavor text of the item? So he could take a "masterwork longsword" with the flavor text "This is a masterwork sword made at Jimbobs" and rename it to "Well balanced Longsword". Then change the flavor text to "This well balanced sword was gifted to the hero Cleitus by the Duke of Hicksville. It bears the ducal standard upon the blade - Two rutting pigs underneath a stags head."

Planned to have something like that for items too, similar to what we have for doors:Rumple C wrote:This may very well be hidden somewhere, or in the works but...

Re: In game item description change function
GetDescription() only works on descriptions which have already been changed, so you wouldn't be able to edit the original. Other than that I'm guessing it would work fine.
Re: In game item description change function
I seem to recall zSpawn revealing some eccentricity or another about that.
On the plus side, ACR_Candlekeep reads .gffs off of the module. That's all it does right now. We can totally get the description of an unmodified item if it's on the palette using the stuff it sets up.
