Writing in-game?

Post by Lucas Manderik »

I've been away for awhile, but last I played, this was not in-game, though I believe there was talk of it being worked on. But how do you all think we would benefit from having an in-game writing system (aka, buying parchment/quill/etc. and being able to write out books, letters, whatever)? I'm curious as my current PC would greatly improve roleplaying by having this, but I'll admit that it definitely isn't an essential for anyone (to my knowledge). Anyway, just some thoughts on it would be cool, and not trying to push it on the dev team, you guys are working too much with too little people as it is!

As an edit, I believe some things for htis already exist, such as Bongo's Writing System: http://nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view=Sc ... il&id=3565.
...Nasty...

We have Bartleby's system nearly ready to go in-game. Please see this thread for the awesome details.
