PREFAB Blueprints

hey if you all Can.. I have so many rooms in Undermountain.. I think they are starting to look the same ..What I need if any of you can is to make some prefabs (placables only) for.

Ruined Rooms
Throne Rooms (ruins/not ruins)
Storage rooms
mage rooms
living areas
barracks
hide aways
Crypts/Tombs
Lich Area

really any type of room you can think of from 2x2 up to 10x10

The large areas would be for something like a camp site for gnolls, orcs, goblins stuff like that..

If you make any be sure to put in the size so I will know, as well as the room type for the name..

To make a prefab. Build the room.
Then cntrl+click all placables (to highlight)
then right click, scroll down to Group
this will group all the placables
then right click again and export group.
this exports it as a prefab.

and then just place it on the ftp and/or send it to me at akdan2000@yahoo.com..

This would really be great and thanks

if anyone is doing this for sheyjin, ensure you've also height locked every placable before grouping and exporting or anything that was adjusted up or down on the Z-axis will be level with the floor, leaving a simple prefab being a mess instead.

How do you lock heights?

BTW as soon as I have interiors done I will share them with all teams to modify as they see fit.

Open the properties tab and set height lock to true. Its under Misc.

*shrugs* why not just click-drag to select a bunch at a time, if you try to lock the height of everything in every area in your mod you're just going to crash it

How do you add your exported group prefab to the list of prefabs in the Prefab section of the blueprints? I just started making some walls.

Put it in your override folder
