Lower the OAS cap to lvl1, and its not a problem. I've always leaned toward letting people start any PC at lvl2 anyway. However, you'd have to make sure only new ALFAns use it. the OAS is not a place for regulars be building up PCs, not if PCs on the live servers are to start at lvl1 as a matter of course.

"Lower the OAS cap to lvl1,"
We won't be able to catch those who are multiclassing incorrectly or any number of other complications that would occur as a result of the situation overlooked and the applicant accepted into Live. There are a number of individuals who barely know what NWN is that join us, let alone the game mechanics and regulations we have in that regard. We cannot resign ourselves to spam the rules and rely on the honor system before they hit live.
My opinion is to keep the system alot like it is now. It works though I definately would not allow someone to just transfer a PC from OAS to live. Only name and appearance only, meaning they start from scratch again. 3,000 XP isn't that much to lose anyways in the grand scheme of it all.

Sounds like a pretty convincing argument to me.Coveting Acquiesce wrote:"Lower the OAS cap to lvl1,"
