Request for LA and/or DMA - world events

The key is volunteers (DMs), isn't it?

That's the hats off to "whoever", the "no one" yet running with it or the "someone" stepping forward per previous posts.

For posters who feel passionate about it, step up. Even if never NWN2 DMing before, everyone learns starting somewhere. For the concern of "but my PC won't be able to participate" or "I'm not allowed to DM on the server where I play", the dozens of people who have DM'd across the last three years have taken one for the team like that (and hopefully in many cases enjoyed this important "other side of the DM screen" element to the game).

Join a server you think you'd like to know more about, stumble through the DM client with basic "rescue a kitten from a tree" plots to hone skills, help out with some larger plots and maybe try to do cross server, or eventually cross-all-servers. Grand Harper vs. Zhents arifact hunt, mysterious devil prince creating no-man's land Baatoran strongholds every server, flight of dragons n' devastation, Maglubiyet's avatar rises out of the sea to punish goblin-farmers on every server, whatever.

It starts with volunteers. Those get turned down quite seldom. People then learn how much DMing is comfortable to them, maybe some will have appetite and aptitude for large, far reaching stuff.

I have supported and approved wide-ranging plots, and those DMs who have asked to attempt them. Infra Admin has assisted by setting up separate Global DM forums when requested. Sadly, all such attempts so far have fallen apart along the way at one stage or another.
