Right, because everyone who seeks DM attention in ALFA gets it as needed.

I'll rephrase, "apparently you never tried to rp being a trapper in NWN2."

And I think JLM nailed it, though to rephrase in the simplest terms possible: Nerfs and bans reduce RP options. They also favor whatever didn't get nerfed, in this case clerics and fighters.

So ban fighters and clerics. :P I imagine in a year from now when wizards come into their own on the servers those will need to be banned too so that the bards and rogues can have their precious "balance", whatever that entails. As I said, I really don't notice those things, and I've played more than fighters on nwn2 alfa, k thx. Maybe I should retire my current pc, play a bard/rogue just so I can retort... (my next PC was a planned bard anyway). Quit worrying about the damn mechanics, and play/rp. DM's will work with you, you DO have to be patient though and not expect instant gratification.

<Castano>: danielnm - can you blame them?
<danielmn>: Yes,

I view it as misguided. 'Canon' is geared towards tabletop roleplaying, and that is a very different creature than a NWN2 PW. Strictly adhering to pnp mechanics - something that was never designed with this medium in mind - should not be a desirable thing.

Ok guys,

I feel this is starting to degrade and go far from the topic of my post.

I've got an answer for my question so thanks all for their thoughts.

Dorn's right - this thread is going downhill. The answer has been given - Cursed Song will not be readded because HEEGZ does not feel it is a good idea to start reversing past Admin's decisions.

If you wish to start a topic debating the pros and cons of banning clerics and fighters feel free to do so. While you're at it, maybe add PrCs, and LA Races to the list as well
