New ALFA Placeable Categories

Post by indio »

I'm taking a few days break from building so I can pluck this thorn out of my foot. Nett result will be a new Placeable Categories, including all of ALFA's custom placeables.

I just can't build with the default placeable categories, and ALFAs custom ones need some attention when imported. Here's how it looks:

I just can't build until it's done. I hope others find it useful. It's certainly worth a look if you've only ever used the default categories before. Will have it ready this time tomorrow.

No touchee the SLV_UNI placeables, please. Thanks for doing this, though, Indio. They are a pain to work with currently.
Enjoy the game

No sweat. I won't be touching module specific placeables. I think the only place the uni placeables exist is inside the TSM mod.

This is every NWN2 + MotB placeable, plus all officially released ALFA placeables associated with haks. It replaces neither the ABR placeables, nor any custom placeables that you have made yourselves.

I invite any builder who has not tried this method before to give it a shot. It will seriously save you bucketloads of time, plus add dimensions to your placeable selection when building.

Yup, tried this tonight and it really is a great help and indeed saves lots of time making choosing the placeables lots more intuitive.

+1 and a tip of a virtual hat.

Thanks, Indio!

I'm so glad you actually tried them, AB. Thanks. I don't know how anyone actually uses the default palettes, but everyone seems to manage. Made my day.
