Don't.
If you patch to 1.10, then install MotB, your game may get fried.
Just wait for the expansion.

There were some early issues with the so-called "hotfix" patch, which was to 1.10116 or something- it was pulled for a while, adjusted, then put back up again. As of last night at least, the official word was it was OK to patch, regardless of whether you've installed MotB. In part, the patch (and adjustments made to it) were to resolve conflicts caused by different combinations of patching and MotB upgrading.
Personally, I went NWN2-> 1.10 -> MotB -> 1.10116 (no problems)
Lou has gone NWN2 -> 1.10 -> 1.10116 (no problems) and will likely do MotB tonight, so I'll post if anything traumatic happens.
