1.06 hotfix: update now.

Post by AcadiusLost »

What is the state of all everyone's favorite toolset plugins? Can we safely move over to 1.06 hotfix? 1.07 doesn't seem to be looming ahead (no mentions of beta for it, even), so just "waiting for 1.07" may not work so well- I'd guess that many of our members who own NWN2 have already patched some time ago, so the pool of beta testers for the new ACR and CC haks is shrinking.

Did they eventually release a rollback patch? Last I heard, 1.06 hotfix was a one-way trip (other than reinstalling, obviously).

If we need to stay at 1.06 pre-hotfix, that's OK too, but I wanted to check in with everyone on it since it's been a while. Indio, Thangorn, Aelred, Teric? Marklos, Castano? It's you folks we'd like to accomodate where possible.

Eh, not really my call to make, I think- but since we've had most of our major contributors chiming in unanimously so far, it does sound like it's time to update.

This way, any suprises we might get from 1.06 hotfix can be identified separate from ones with the upcoming haks, and ACR.

As long as the plugins are up to date and builders can safely update their versions, nobody gets screwed. So as far as I'm concerned, you've got the green light AL.

Allright, cleared out my override folders, hit the big scary update button.

Now running at 106.980.

Builders, remember to clear your override folders first!

1.07 beta should be fairly soon, by the way.
