Could someone sticky this thread and make it only postable by ADMIN/CC
Also could someone give a list here of what rules have already been "approved for implementation". It would be nice to start making some decisions and gain some momentum toward the structure behind this community for round two.
Do we need to list the rules already covered by the current APM/ADM/Alfa rulebook/Charter or only those that differ from round one?
Edited after Ronan's Post as to not clog the thread: I am refering to any rule that would differ from the NWN 2 engine. Any rule Technical or not that we wish to set forth as guidelines/Laws/Rules for the ALFA community. I am asking If we plan to carry over our APM/ADM/Rulebook/Charter to Alfa 2 and if so can we start by listing what will differ. I don't see any reason we can't Post an ongoing "work in progress" that at least starts laying down the OOG mechanics.

If you are refering to in-game systems, we don't have anything truely approved as such. The target is typically 3.5's ruleset, with a lot of handwaving and estimation when we bang heads up against time and technical constraints. Unfortunately thats the best answer I can give, because it seems like every time we try to do much, a new bug in NWN2 or problem is discovered.
All I could find so far...Maybe we can start adding to the list?
ADMIN has declared that ALFA will be an FR setting for NWN2.
PC's may not be recreated in NWN2 that have been previously created and perished in NWN ALFA.
The vault will be wiped. Everyone will start with a new PC.
ALFA canon shall carry over to NWN2 in the form of minor canon events that do not conflict with WotC 3.5 canon (such as buildings and easter eggs of past plots in the form of tales and stories), and/or with PCs converted to NPCs, all at HDM discretion.
After discussion in the DM/Admin forums, by an Admin vote of 3:1 with one abstention, official D&D canon for NWN2 will include all publisher sourcebooks and all canon novel series completed at the time we go gold, EXCLUDING the Last Mythal and Rogue Dragon series. They aren't finished and they provide an exciting chance for ALFA PCs to live them out in NWN2.
After discussion in the NWN2 forums, the Admin/DM forums and the Admin forum, by an Admin vote of 3:0 with two abstentions, time compression in NWN will be 9:1.

This was the most recent Admin post on the starting date that I know of:Keith Mac wrote:After discussion in the DM/Admin forums, by an Admin vote of 3:1 with one abstention, official D&D canon for NWN2 will include all publisher sourcebooks and all canon novel series completed at the time we go gold, EXCLUDING the Last Mythal and Rogue Dragon series.
