Randomly-generated areas may be useful for other things as well, namely outdoor areas, especially for servers with a lot of areas of similar terrain (Cold Lands). Its something I hope to be able to include in the ACR, but given the number of placeables which would have to be spawned or despawned in such areas, we don't know if its really practical yet.

Interiors would probably have pre-placed placables, and random inhabitants spawned, so they'd probably be more do-able.

Problem with some sort of auto-generated message is that we don't know why the DM has marked the door plot, or made it use a specific key. It may be a door without an interior, it may be barred from the inside, or it may be a wall of force disguised as a door. That, and I don't know of any way to replace the static message with a randomly-generated one (we could override dialog.tlk, but that would just be a static message of our own).
