Re: Clearing Out Your Old PCs

There's one character left. Delete her too. She died to goblins.

Re: Clearing Out Your Old PCs

Delete everything in Araylin's vault. I need to remake my last character. I had one stat too low so she was unable to cast any spells. it's kind of pointless to have a spirit shaman that is too stupid to cast spells.

Re: Coldness in the Heart (18+ Some swearing, implied scenes)

Scowling Audra glared at the obstacle before her. Her fist thumping on the door to the shrine. It remained closed. A thick layer of ice sealing the doors. Audra shot a last heated glare, then sighed and let a hand rest on the ice. The wind howled around the mountain peaks. Stray whisps blasting the ...

Re: Bug Thread June 2 --

I'm not sure if this is a bug, but I (Audra) am stuck in the second part of the Abjuration room. I thought I'd logged out in the main room, but when I logged in, I found myself in the sealed portion and no scrolls (Protection from Alignment) to help me escape.

Re: Bug Thread March 18 --

The scrolls at the collage are not useable. I (Audra) bought at least 4 and the only options were to examine or drop. I have several scrolls from the same scribe I bought a few weeks ago and those ones are useable.

Coldness in the Heart (18+ Some swearing, implied scenes)

(Everything is from Audra's point of view and reflects what she is thinking at the time. Anything in italics is a thought. She's not stupid enough to say any of this out loud. She knows it'd get her killed.) Audra sat high in the mountains above Silverymoon, in a copse of alpine trees that guarded t...

Re: ALFA vs WOW

Hey Kest, I mentioned WAR first! So if people want to try it out, talk to ME! (( Just FYI, the reason that we care is that if you get 6 people to join, you can get a manticore or griffon mount. Hmmph. )) Truth be told, I've not played WAR in over a month because I am sick of unbalanced servers. Sti...

Re: ALFA vs WOW

Mikayla nailed most of my likes/dislikes with comparing ALFA to(WowW in my case) another MMO. The differences are; Graphics: ALFA wins. The graphicvs are awesome and very well done, butit's a problem in getting close to some things like trees, they vanish from sight and it's real hard to not walk in...

Re: To fix permadeath

The bandaging items do work, as does the right-click "aid" contextmenu option. New players coming from NWN1 may find the targeting confusing at first, but it's not hard to get used to. The same mechanics apply to healing potions and spells, if you just activate them while you're targeted ...

Re: To fix permadeath

Why not make the creatures like bears, wolves and badgers that seem to kill a lot of PCs, be less hostile, as they are in nature. Most predators are not auto-attacking people in RL, but prefer to avoid huimans unless they are startled/scared, defending a lair, food or babies. For bandits, how often ...

Your quarantine makes them effectively prisoners. Denying them a right to movement and the ability to live where -they- want to. You are denying them their basic human dignity. What if they can afford the treatments on their own? Would they be required to stay there? I don't deny it. They would be ...
