any way to vary it according to listen ranks? if not, no worries. or according to races maybe. just a thought. I think that the value here is tremendous for RP. For example; elves inheirently should and could spot things further off, and hey, the humour of a dwarf almost running into a threat befor...

Not really sure, how the implimentation would work, but some of the mods out for NWN1 challenged your listen and spot for hostile encounters. I really liked the PnP factor when it can be added appropriate.
