One For the Shiny
One For the Shiny His glass spanned far and wide, one eye closed in an effort to block out unwanted rays. He concentrated and moved the glass ever so slightly back then forth, leaning his head back further as he viewed the hillside. His gaze progressed up the hillside, catching a glimpse of some dee...

Re: DM & Player Props
I already told you in private...but to make it official I think "The Vessel" should be in ALFA's all time top ten rped toons. Very very nice. I don't believe we have that category but you deserve honorable mention at the very least.

Tailor Shops
Dear Castano, I found a minor thing that is more of a frustration than a problem, but I will tell you anyway. The lighting in the tailor shops makes it hard to see footwear and clothing colors correctly until walking outside the in the daylight. The flickering light sources may be realistic, but the...

Re: Evil character tolerance?
To all that dared reply I thank you. It surely tells the tale, mostly from experiences others have had, and pretty much outlines the way one almost has to play to have a chance. I think the comments about DM play time for special needs players are well noted as well. I will consider carefully how to...

Re: Evil character tolerance?
Hi Burtimus! I am glad the diaries and comments are rolling. They are not exactly the same, but echo the experiences I have had in general. Keep them comming, it is great to see, and hopefully will promote a better understanding and eliminate some hard feelings that could arise in the future .Bravo ...

Re: Evil character tolerance?
I appreciate your comments. Your approach seems reasonable and fair enough kid. I only rehash old ground if the problems don't seem to go away, and in MHO they are still around. I am not trying to create a problem for anyone, or bore anyone...this could have been discussed many times but I didn't se...

Evil character tolerance?
I decided to write this thread to pose a question to the DMs, ADMIN, and players of ALFA. Is ALFA really tolerant of a players creating and RPing evil characters? The discussion I would like to see as a result of this letter is one of open honesty. Most people will not admit their prejudices openly,...

The Flaming Monk
Apparently, passers by the Thayan Enclave saw a young female monk set fire to herself in front of the Shrine of Kossuth. Her robes were soaked in lamp oil and she went up like a dry cedar tree in Summer. The stench that filled the air was horrible according to neighbors. She burned for quite some ti...

Hak Download Prob
Mmmmm... is this problem routine? I kinda get that from the other posts...after logging into a server the haks never begin the download, or maybe I am being impatient as usual. Please douse my flames with foam and I will just keep trying, or tell me the secret of secrets.
