Re: THE Lists for the Masses
I'd be in favor of making the DM involvement in crafting wonderous items/magic AA/etc streamlined and less painful. 1. if at all possible, fully automate the cost calculations during the 'project' stage so that DM doesn't have to worry about doing the math (though they can certainly choose to do so...

Re: REPORT BUGS HERE
Darksteel dwarven waraxe (+1 and +1d2 electrical) When changing from the weapon equipped to ranged attack the ranged ammo seems to be retaining the electrical damage bonus. (Not sure if this helps, but I did notice that the weapon effect seems to be on the PD’s hand, not the weapon ) This may be a ...

Re: PA Q&A - shad0wfax
ALFA is, like it or not, a structured environment and I see any administrative position as having a duty to uphold that structure or to change that structure in accordance with the procedures for change if needed. I believe that in ALFA, the Charter is fairly well-written and provides a fair platfor...

Re: PA Election Aug 2020 - round 2 - self-nominations
Unopposed elections aren’t acceptable! I shall self nominate. Good luck Tamlin. On a more serious note, the PA office has two issues requiring resolution: There are no ALFA Representatives (AR) appointed. There should be at least two ARs. Re: PA Q&A - shad0wfax
The Charter is the governing document over disputes. http://www.alandfaraway.info/wiki/Charter#Complaint_Process The Player Administrator (PA) portion of the ALFA Rulebook is subordinate to the Charter and adds details to the process: https://www.alandfaraway.info/wiki/Rulebook#In-Game_Dispute_Proce...

Re: PA Q&A - shad0wfax
since changes aren’t retroactive Just some perspective on this - the relevant section in the rulebook basically aims to preclude that changes in our code of conduct, IG or OOG, may lead to retroactive censure. So this example was probably correct (if the other way around), however, it does not appl...

Re: PA Q&A - shad0wfax
Thanks SF -- I'm more just trying to determine your thought process about it: the charter can always be amended, of course. It sounds like from your answer though that you think the current process is sufficient? Correct. If I wanted people like MrDuncan and LadyCrankesntein back, I’d have proposed...

Re: PA Q&A - shad0wfax
So many questions that come up are already answered for us, so it makes me wonder if the people posing these questions (both in the DMA platform thread and this PA platform thread are just trying to determine if the candidates have bothered to read the rules or not. But then when I view the voting r...

Re: PA Q&A - shad0wfax
The Rulebook is very clear on how the dispute process works and how disputes are resolved and who have what does and responsibilities. I’ve underlined the majority of the roles and responsibilities.. In-Game Investigation Procedures This Chapter contains procedural rules for the investigation of com...
