Re: Tavern Knowledge (II) - post your rumours and gossip here

A rangery-looking fellow spreads word that some murdered brownies seem to have been used to curse a section of the Moonwood with an unnatural blight.

He also claims that he burnt the woods. But only the sick parts.

Re: Make ALFA run on Blood Money

Dammit.

I had my gold pin by the time I was 21 (those of you in the US know what this means).
Then twelve years ago I got toxic hepatitis. They won't even let me show up for the orange juice and crackers.

Building vs PLaying vs Scheduling fyi

Just an fyi, folks, I'll be doing some building across the next week -- while I very much would like to get IG and rp with folks ( let alone the Quest Eternal for DM-Loving(tm) ), the MOST reliable way to get me will be if you PM me (at which point, if I can get in, I'll happily do so, after a...

((the following entries are stuck onto old sacks like before, but they tend to be more quickly and less-carefully done, one message per sack. The sacks themselves tend to be filled with various doo-dads and bric-a-brac, obviously gifts, though none of them are particularly valuable in and of themsel...

Re: The guy in the tattered straw hat

Brier has reappeared, looking much more relaxed than he had been. He is much seen on the corridor between Rivermoot, the Great Oak, and the Glade of Mielikki, bringing various gifts to a huge half-orc teenager, who seems to turn much of them into decorations, clothing, or other things to adorn herse...

Re: Bugs: August 16th 2010

Oh, no question there. My Mielikki guy doesn't even go that way.
On the other hand, what about other supplemental items that are sold? Rings, amulets, heavy-duty scrolls, that sort of thing?

Re: Bugs: August 16th 2010

Yeah, it's a REALLY tricky issue, because it's not just faith and hearts and teddy bears, but also a matter of which worshippers get access to how much power and what kind, since the temples are the leading source of spiff items. Granted, many of them don't really have anything to sell except basics...

Re: Bugs: August 16th 2010

The allies things gets really wacky, because those entries never seem to line up. For instance, he's also an ally of Mielikki (lover, at times), but M's entry doesn't list him. Don't recall that the elven priest (who might not have been this Solonor, but Corellon Larethian lists her) listed M among ...

Re: Elven Bond - Interesting Read

Hey, Brier liked your character just fine until he decided to rub his linguistic superiority all over the character's face. And even then he DID save the elf's life. I agree, however, that a well-played elf, GENERALLY SPEAKING, should care a lot more about his people than about other peoples. Becaus...

Re: Elven Bond - Interesting Read

Insulting to characters and players??? Sir. It's been tradition for longer than I've been alive now for people to take these stereotypes and grind them against each other for fun. I would truly hope that people here aren't taking the game that seriously, that they would take my two cents in the gam...
