Re: November is NATIONAL NOVEL WRITING MONTH

I am going for a winning record this year! (3 attempts and 2 wins!) I barely have time to remember my name... so if I can do it... so can you!

Re: Building New Computer - Need Input

I've been told to get a high end i5 over any i7 when it comes to Sandy Bridge. You'd just never use the i7 to its potential, and you'd save some money with a 5.

Also... 64 is totally the way to go, but be wary of difficulty in finding drivers.

Re: Tavern Tales and Rumours

Over drinks and laughter one night, word spreads from customers, merchants and the occasional caravaneer concerning a halfling seen in the market outside the Eastern Gate. The halfling in question was dressed like a woodsman or an adventurer, in shades of grey and black. Some say the hin handed over...

Re: A Time for a Tourney?

I'd love a tourney, but perhaps we could have one that gets scheduled for multiple days? I'm sure I can't be the only player with an extra hectic work/life schedule, after all!

Re: Organising: Dwarves and spiders n stuff

Liam tried to make himself useful for that end part of the quest (before Dorn and co logged), but that didn't work. In the end, his part was utterly negligible, and the interactions he had with the other PCs could have just as easily come about during a mail run or something. That being said... roll...

Re: Wild Empathy

Don't forget that when a DM is around, you can use this to your hearts content.

I used a wild empathy check just a few days ago, even!

Mind you, this is also a class ability for rangers.

Re: DM & Player Props

All of the props in the entire world go to Koriasha (Loulabelle) for making a character that is fun, interesting, enraging, deep, and engaging come to life before all of our collective eyes.

Re: DM & Player Props

Thanks to the players involved last night: Kara, Shandri, and Toc. It was a great time and we escaped by the hair of our neck!

Thanks the the DM involved: Kid. I thoroughly enjoyed the event, even though we didn't quite finish our task.

Re: The Wanderer - A Journey South

The sun is rising. Leif spent the better part of the afternoon becoming acquainted with the river merchants and deck hands, and the better part of the night lying restless on the straw mat in the room he bought for the night. Sleep came at last, though the pungent odor of the tap room was still wit...

Re: The Wanderer - A Journey South

The sun is rising. The trip upriver had taken less time than Leif had imagined it would. The expert crew of the small barge had used oars and pushing staves to navigate the river as far east as the outskirts of Scornubel in only a half cycle of the moon. Leif had surprised the men by offering to ro...

The Wanderer - A Journey South

The sun is rising. Leif slowly opened an eye and ran a hand across his face. Where once had been little more than a mess of short stubble, now a blonde, bristly beard had grown. Slowly, he began to stretch away the aches that had returned after another long night on a cold stone floor. The small wi...

Re: The Scruffy Woodsman

The tall, scruffy woodsman was seen emerging from the deeper Moonwood recently by a guard contingent outside of Quaervarr. While typically covered in a fine layer of dirt and dust, his figure was seen as being particularly rough about the edges. A tattered cloak and torn leather armour was eventuall...

Re: New players and low lvls look here!

Oh! Well then... You prove me the more sight impaired man, Erevain. And yes Audark, I will never say BBL again. That said: GSID: Andumien Character Name: Leif Saetre Preferred times: PST nights/evenings Description: Leif is fairly easygoing and carefree. Quick with a joke. Rather tall, blonde hair a...

Re: New players and low lvls look here!

Erevain.. you are not a low level. =P

That being said.. I'm not either. But if you lot are playing PST nights, I'm often about (even if not in game) and can log in if you need a big beefy Leif for something.
