Does this also include the reduced reward amounts for the Marshall's quests? Since the level 1 ones got reduced to 25xp from ~32xp, level 2 to 50xp from ~66xp and so forth. Doesn't really harm me much seeing as Talon logged in to be surrounded by orcs and wyverns. Hopefully my new character has bett...

200-300gp/d6? Why, oh why do so many people seem to have this massive misconception that traps are some sort of amazingly powerful PC genocide devices? The trap set DCs: http://nwn2.wikia.com/wiki/Set_trap The trap damages: http://nwn2.wikia.com/wiki/Trap_kit Please read through there and tell me ex...

In PnP a rogue can concievably snipe a target from a rooftop in a city, while still being within sneak attack range. They can then dash across the rooftops, swing down a rope on the side of a nearby building, flee a couple of alleys then hide in shadows and the like there. In NWN2, if you're within ...

I highly doubt it will be like that Swift... most likely a "Do you wish to join up with the militia? => 1) Yes. , 2) No." etc., but with more flowery writing.

Well considering my experience was as a lvl 3 evil cleric with 14 STR who lacked Monkey Grip, but had a tower shield, I doubt it's that exactly. The character sheet said +2 AB, my attack rolls said +4 AB, and the Inflict Wounds spells said +0 AB. Eh... it's OEI. I've given up trying to understand th...

Well then one of the ALFA coders must have gone through and altered that because on no other server I've played on for 1.12 has that been the case.

Yes they do Kalbron. -2 AB. My PC uses one. What the character sheet says, and what actually occurs, are often wildly different. For instance, my PC when wielding a bow says he should deal 1d8+3 damage. Except that +3 comes from OEI's engine reporting that I have a +2 STR bonus and that my characte...

Erm, I didn't catch what the rant was about before it was self-deleted, but I'm guessing it was just a rant against the situation Rivermoot is in at the moment. I've got to say though that the ALFA DMs have been the gentlest DMs on a Permadeath server I've met. They've been going pretty easy on PCs ...

Tower shields don't actually take away AB from melee combat, so it's not as gimped as you'd think! :P

Strangely they do take away AB from touch attacks...

They didn't say they wanted parity with a fighter in combat. What they said was that removing traps from rogues makes them even less effective than they'd normally be. To be honest considering the way in which melee combat rules (and has always ruled) the NWN series, I don't see why there's a pressi...
