Re: Hellgate Keep & The Blue Bear Tribe

From the FR Campaign Setting book: Hellgate Keep: In the days of Eaerlann, the city of Ascalhorn was a moon elf citidel. Human refugees occupied it after the fall of Netheril. Later the baatezu infiltrated Ascalhorn, secretly gaining control over ruling figures and the populace until 882 DR, when a ...

Re: Invocation: Flee The Scene

I tested it a bit in a test mod and it worked exactly how it is described. The only issue was sometimes the monsters simply don't care about the decoy but that's more of a NWN thing, not a script thing. And ultimately the decoy only lasts a round so it's not a huge deal.

Re: Bladesinger PRC

I posted about that prc pack because of what AL had said: So, I'm not categorically against adding custom PrCs, I'd just like to see the following: -Agreement on a "set" of several custom PrCs to add at once -Agreement on the prerequisites and abilities of these PrCs -Confirmation that acc...

Re: Invocation: Flee The Scene

My only suggestion aside from the change itself is that the speed boost is taken out of the spell effect. I believe it was put in there by the creator because there is no way to make a monster attack the decoy for a round instead of picking a new target (or immediately zeroing in on the warlock in a...

Re: Bladesinger PRC

Why do you need anything except fighter, rogue, wizard and cleric? Variety is the spice of life.

And D&D is nothing if not full of class variety.

Re: Bladesinger PRC

If there is any significant push to add classes that potentially a lot of people could use I don't see why the Kaedrin's PrC Pack shouldn't be the first thing discussed. He has a site which lists everything it contains in various sections. I'll attach a list of the classes it adds to this post, it i...

Invocation: Flee The Scene

Currently this invocation gives a very short duration haste to everyone in the party. I'm sure no one will disagree that this is a bad invocation that is both easily abused and against the normal warlock playstyle. It was actually supposed to be changed to function as exp retreat but it fell through...

Re: Suggestions, Mk II

DMs seem to always allow it in their plots if you ask them in tells. Same with detect magic.

Most players will probably also allow you to do it on them if you send them a tell. Ditto for detect magic.

Re: Does anyone know why this happens?

There was a bug that if you had a 2d portrait selected and you zone DMs randomly have a chance to crash if they can see the portrait or not. Back when everyone was using a 2d portrait it meant DMs would crash out of the game over and over and over because if you roll the dice enough times it comes u...

Re: Does anyone know why this happens?

It has improved quite a lot since when nwn2 first came out. It used to be that 3 people all using WASD in the same area would slowly make a server become unresponsive. Still best to avoid using WASD as much as possible sadly. Unless they refine how it sends packets that deal with elevation changes t...

Re: Does anyone know why this happens?

It does. Basically when you just click somewhere it sends the location update once to the server and once to all the other players. When you use WASD it's sending a constant stream of updates from you to the server and out to everyone on the same map as you. This causes a lot of server and bandwidth...

This site usually has the titles of clerics for the gods in the entries. It's my first stop before I go hunting through books.

Oh. They paid for it? Well, cool. Then I suppose my ire goes to THEM for not including me. Hmmph. SOMEONE is getting my ire. But .. uh .. alright - I'll order one. In fact, I am going to order two - one for each of my ALFA PCs. I got my tax-refund check today, so I am temporarily rich. At the time ...

What about characters who have legitimate IC reasons to always stand guard at the bridge?

Though I never do what I would call AFKing it. I am always there, at the controls and chatting with whoever else is on duty (usually Diane).

Going AFK out there seems like a deathwish to me. The whole reason some characters stand guard at the end of the bridge is because of how dangerous it is.
