Re: Dragon Age

Still doing the first play-through as Human noble berserker/champion, but nearing the end. Even though I really really love the game, don´t think I´m gonna replay it very soon. Just takes way too much time (which in itself shows it´s money´s worth, but anyway)and not sure it´d be that different, Ori...

Re: WoT: The Gathering Storm

Read it some time ago and overall I´d say it was pretty great book. Had to refresh my memories by rereading the earlier chapters, but that I did sometime around spring when I expected it to come out even sooner. Things are finally moving in the plot and there´s a palpable feeling of them reaching th...

Re: Demand for NWN1?

I suppose I should add my words in here, having DM´d for almost 2½ years on Sembia and after the venerable E left, having "served" as EADM for some time. For me, alfa nwn1 was first a discovery in 05. I found a Community and bloody great game in TLR. Played there, DM´d there. Then it becam...

Re: Baldur's Gate is Live!!

Excellent and congrats!

When I get some more time/energy I´ll dig Devon out of naftaline and pay the Sword Coast a visit.

The Path of Dust and little returns

The road strecthed before him. An endless road. A Road he had walked before a thousand times, no matter these cobblestones were not the same his boots had tread on before. Devon was tired. Tired to the bone like a traveler who gets tired upon walking countless miles. Tired like a one on a pilgrimag...

Re: Tavern knowledge - post your rumours and gossip here

A Gaunt figure in ragged black cloak and a dented armour covered in road dust was seen in Rivermoot. A Man bearing this muchworn equipment was reported to have been ordering a beer and a bread in local tavern and afterwards having moved to the bridge where he fed the fish with half of the bread. Som...

Re: The Server is up @ 71.63.18.145 (new IP, PWC update 1/16/09)

Actually, I got the exact same message.

However, I was able to play fine anyway.

Might be something I didn´t know to miss, of course.

Re: NWN1 Weekly Group

Would love to have few "new" players in my "campaign" in Sembia and in the spirit of the trial run I´ve considered it and spoken with Vald and my players and I´d be willing to boost the new joins propably to 4th lvl to match up better with existing regulars. (of course, it´s enti...

Re: Storm of Zehir *SPOILERS*

Dunno why, but I never got hooked on OC nor MotB. I did get hooked on SoZ, though. Maybe it´s the non-linearity; I like sandbox games to an extent. Anyway, I like this extension to the point that I think I´m getting excited about NWN2 again. At least building for it when/if the new stuff is available.

Re: Adhoc Play: A discussion

What drew me in ALFA in first place was the idea of being able to be in Forgotten Realms. I had an ideal start, too. My elf ranger fitted in the group that was just forming in TLR and I got welcomed in immediately. Lots of fun times followed, think I logged in pretty much everyday just to share the ...

Re: Fallout 3!!!

I"ve searched the GNR building and can't find the it or Gunny who's supposed to offer training. Gunny is in Brotherhood headquarters (ruined Pentagon), which you will reach eventually following the mainplot. He´ll be in main yard during the day, but you gotta get permission from the Elder in s...

Re: Fallout 3!!!

Considering the frequency that you meet super mutants in F3, i just wonder whether a straight conversion of them into F1/F2 SMs would horribly ruin balance That´s just one of the many design brainfarts. They used to be bloody tough, but also kinda rare excluding some areas. So, when you /did/ meet ...

Re: Post your favorite music (using youtube)!

Meh, forgot one bloody great band.

Moonspell. From Portugal.

Two first albums are pure gold. Rest of them, there´s nuggets here and there, but two first are the mine.
