Darkfall is pure vaporware. Some french company who has promised a lot and done nothing. Well they have a playable version out and gave some guy a go at it. They have put out a video and there website seams to be moving forward with information. They are obviously taking a ridiculous amount of time...

We're not going to require pre-approval for ECL races. I see no reason to require pre-approval for PRC's. If a PrC is seen as unbalancing, like SD or WM, then simply ban (or edit) those PrC's that are unbalancing. One thing I do with WM's in my own games is to limit them to finesse weapons, thus el...

The biggest complaint I ever had with ALFA is many good players get punished for the few bad. *nods*, why I have not put any time here in what feels like ages. I think it gets to the point when you just don't want to bash your head into the brick wall anymore. as for: Permadeath and "hard core...

FYI: The beauty is if you don't feel comfy with it you don't have to participate in the fundraising....so those who vote no have absolutley nothing to loose if it goes forward eh?

That is an incorrect, and potentially dangerous, statement. The "owners" of a corporation are the share holders in a for-profit enterprise, and the public in a non-profit one. Here, we are concerned with liability for the Directors and Officers, not the "owners". In Most corpora...

V. Inductions • ALFA DMs vote on induction • Nominees are inducted if they are found on 60% of the DMs ballots • DMs will discuss both reasons for nomination and induction via the “Player Review” Forum • DMs will turn in their ballots via secret PM to a designee • Nominees not found on 60% of DM ba...

Looks more apealing for sure...would like to see something a little more interesting then the bearded generic human however....lets make things more exciting if possible. (easier said then done, especially from someone without the skills to help)

The context at which you are perceiving alignment is entirely superficial; but alignment, as presented in DnD, is not. Intentions do not denote right and wrong, they only denote assumption. And if someone assumes incorrectly, an unintended consequence ensues. In fact, it is this very same facet of ...

Difference between you and most of the other posters here is that they can say just about the same thing but back it up with arguments Intent! I believe the word I used to back it up. To just call someone dumb or insinuate they are, and just call a game mechanic stupid without actually explain why ...

I didn't miss the point at all Keith (although Brokenbone may have). Keith, i don't know anyone here personally. Unlike you, i'm not inclined to defend someone just because of friendships C'mon now dude, I take you for smarter than this...You assume I have a friendship with someone I don't know IRL...

I think you guys are missing the point....as a player he solved his own IG rediculous problem by using a static alignment shift against another. Neither static alignment shift should have been there in the first place. He didn't cheat or abuse the engine. The engine cheated him and his concept by ma...
