A Land Far Away

This question makes me realise I don't fully understand what makes something canon.

Is it really the case that we ALFAN's can simply vote on something and it becomes FR canon ? Doesn't it have to be....er...canonised by someone official (in which case we just ask them for their call on this) ?

Is there clear canon information on how Ranger-type skills or specialising in particular types of environment feed into this idea ? It could open very interesting avenues for playing Ranger / guide characters.

Please include:

- Pause Real Life
- Prevent crash
- Detect impending argument
- Create alcohol
- Deliver pizza
- Heal eyes
- Simulate work

Possibly with mean monster (dragon seems favourite), or possibly kitted up and planning an adventure around the table at the Inn.

In fact, the more I think about it, a party sitting around chatting in the Inn would seem to give the most accurate picture !

There is another aspect to resting that I would like you to consider if possible. Currently taking a rest brings you out of "stealth mode". My own experience in RL of sleeping out is that if you have the skills you can find and set up your resting place so that you are extremely hard to sp...
