Thank you both very much. I have to say Indio, I might not have thought of returning to ALFA at all, but for your kind comments concerning my original hak released to NWVault.
It's exciting to be building again, and working with Thangorn.

Concerning NWN1 and revival of mods.
Would ALFA consider rolling nwn1 mods through available servers, to allow some mods to be taken down, and updated before being hosted again? Teams of builders could work over the older mods, while DMs could host cross-server quests.
Just an idea and probably talked about before.

I realize the bit about high acr monsters, but I think it can be worked around through the use of wizard/sorc/cleric spells and teamwork.. as to the balance of classes, not sure that i've ever seen a real balance on alfa..seem to me, it's always been combat heavy..fighters, clerics ect...I've met pr...

I pretty sure I'll get flamed..
And I know it's not canon..and doesn't represent the Forgotten Realms, but has ALFA ever considered doing away with Magic Items..save for potions etc.. It's my opinon, that when you remove the really powerful magic items from the game, that what you have left, is a reliance on Story, RP and explorat...

Not sure where to put this...
I am still working on some custom content for ALFA (slum houses), but at times, I need to step away and do something different. Tried playing, but I really suck at it, so... If anyone needs some outdoor areas built, I'd like to do some building for anyone who needs it. When Thangorn gets cranked up,...

In a rough, heavy-handed script.
Hughlan Auldhelm seeks help in finding his cousin, one Arawyn Auldhelm. If any have clues to his whereabouts, or are willing to join with me in searching for him, please seek me in Rivermoot near the Inn or the bridge. As I do not wish to draw away viable defenders of the Village, any newly arrived ...

It's a thorny question to be sure. Personally, I'd like to see a system whereby each contributing party member got a simple percentage of the xp value of the creature, with the minimum being 1xp. I think this is pretty close to being what we have now..just don't want to see the level 1 guys getting ...

I have no problem limiting the xp gained from an overbalanced party killing off weak monster types..I don't think the level ones should receive 0, but I'm not in charge, and I respect the folks here who've had to make the decisions on how to do things. I do wish low levels would get at least a singl...

Wow..that's really a catch-22 for the low level guys then. Party-up and survive, or go solo or near solo and run a greater risk of dying. Additionally here, I have no way of knowing the level or approximate level of those I'm about to set out with.. I know the rules say it should be so, but the pen/...

On Saturday, my now dead toon teamed up with several others to complete a couple of scripted tasks. During the adventure, quite a few undead were killed..and as best I could tell, my PC never got a single XP for it...what gives? Is there a script firing that keeps xp from being gained when the overa...
