Re: Newest Edition Forgotten Realms Questions
Southern Amn is also now a spaceport for starjammers, with bowless cross bows that shoot rays of heat, frost, or lines of acid. Well not really.

Re: Pathfinder Online
The A-Student in Economics in me says "How much money would you have if you had placed those funds in an investment plan?" :p
I have enough games right now that I don't pay to play anymore. Ok, I did just buy XCOM, but that was for... research.

Re: Newest Edition Forgotten Realms Questions
I found a web-based play-by-post forum where you make your own character sheets. Wow, things have changed in 4.0. I do think that the healing-surge is a good thing, as people are harder to kill than you would think. I also like the concept of death, where 3 rounds pass, and you croak, presuming you'...

Newest Edition Forgotten Realms Questions
So what books reflect the death of Mystra and all of the This Years Eddition D&D changes for the Forgotten Realms? Novels, I mean, not so much rulebooks. No more Mazteca? There go the Tabaxii. So what took it's place? I hear it swaped places with another continent from another dimention. -Charlie

Re: Star Citizen, SPACE ALFA
I'm very curious to see what 45+ million dollars in publisher-free money buys, other than alot of pump-up and fancy promo videos.

Re: Charlie Attends Collage Level Courses in C++
Two years later and still a 4.0. College is now a great deal easier to spell. Ha!
Apparently, due to the way in which UofH Clear Lake teaches some of the courses, I will be required to take Java. Yay.

Re: Charlie Attends Collage Level Courses in C++
Psudo code? Malik's book is what we're going over. This is my first semester on getting to know C++ through a teacher who hasn't updated his course material in three years. Right now I'm up to chapter 8, Arrays and Strings. We're learning how to solve problems, how to read and manipulate strings, an...

Re: Charlie Attends College Level Courses in C++
No, not spam. I've seen a few people here I used to know back in the day when ALFA was in it's infancy. Hoping for some good advice on C++ classes.

Infallibly, yes that pesky spelling error of mine keeps on cropping up... college not collage.

Charlie Attends Collage Level Courses in C++
Long time no see.
Got married, had a kid.
Any career advice? Going back to school, and I know a bunch of C++ programmers who frequent this sandbox.

That's not possible. I'm still barely learning C++ (still reading the book, slowly) and don't have time for artwork.

Re: Alfa, and the Unreal 3 Engine.
No, the idle money question was quite real, but if it strikes a cord, so be it. Making a melee/magic/archery system for d20 in Unreal wouldn't be that hard, but it would be time consuming. The question is answered from the few comments I've received, is that people don't want to bother. It's underst...
