Dwarven Play by Post campaign on GiantitP
Hello everyone: I hope the OOC forum is okay for this... and yeah, I know I've been a stranger lately. So hi! I am currently running a Play by Post campaign on Giantitp.com called Heretic's Bane. It's a primarily dwarven campaign. I have a few openings that are currently being handled as NPCs as pla...

Re: Stop Hating on the Tavern RP
Good to see you too! How have you been? Are you really in Qatar, based on your profile? Nice! Those minotaurs you turned into mercenaries back in the day, I use them quite prominently in the game I'm running actually. Kerik Many-Skulls and Gore, being two of the characters.

Re: Stop Hating on the Tavern RP
Nothing wrong with tavern RP. Or campfire RP. Like any good PnP session, it was a great way to get people together. We could all talk, swap stories, swap lies, and catch up with everyone. ALFA's pub life was fairly unique in my experience in gaming, as it was a great RP atmosphere. When you talk tha...

It's not that bad without moderating, Bill. I doubt GF is totally against moderation. THIS level of moderation, however, is way too much. Do you honestly think we need some of the strictest on the net? In any human discourse, people are going to get feeling hurt and noses. If we try to protect ourse...

The Path of the Pilgrims While Taark and Barak Shanat led the main host, his own and adopted sons led their own independent armies of crusaders. While this arrangement was occasionally contentious and competitive, it was the only militarily practicable way to manage such a large force. Each of the ...

The Call of the Crusade This plot finally caused a schism within the Church of Moradin in Thuulurn, splitting it between Crusaders and Traditionalists factions. Barak Shanat would serve as the High Sonnlinor of the Crusader faction of the Church of Moradin, claiming Thuulurn and driving out the Tra...

Dwarven History: A History of Shanatar
Hello, While I'm not one to really share my writings, I thought I would post this as I'll be including the history on a new website I am working on: www.dwarfhome.com. With luck, it will be the most comprehensize site for dwarves in the Forgotten Realms. While this piece is a history that involves C...
