Re: Adventure Packs Server (edit)

Hey Thanks man! A) Thinking the same thing, once I finish the concept version and then refine it we should have a decent working template, it's a matter of throwing people at the content problem at that point and taking direction from Admin on storylines (e.g. PA breaks it up in penny packets and th...

Re: static quest projects

Cheers, Here you on the war with the toolset, after my HD crash on Friday and nearly lost everything I have created a batch file that copies the mod to a network share each time I open it :) Seriously thought Ideas are *good* I wil...

static quest projects

Hello, In light of the balance thread and the desire of some people to continue the discussion I started a new thread. I am currently still working on the infectious zombie adventure and am almost finished to the point where it can act as a template for creating additional ALFA compatible static que...

Re: Adventure Packs Server (edit)

changed the title of the thread, GvE plot tracker isn't really needed and I am not going forward with that idea for hte time being. ALFA already tracks quests in the DB and it covers everything we need for reporting. Just going to focus on story development and putting module packs together for the ...

Re: My next Forgotten Realms reading material

I really did NOT like Pools of Radiance... Apprentice wizard who get //ring of three wishes by her master , and accidentally use TWO OF THEM because she is dumb, was a bit too much for me... If you want decent, non crazy stuff try the following: Twilight Falling Azure Bonds hmmm, it was a LONG time...

Re: Adventure Packs and GvE Plot Tracker

Been making some decent progress, I have been working on the different class options in the module. For this adventure I am focusing options for thieves, wizard(and like types), clerics and attempting to add tracks for Rangers. I got seriously lucky yesterday, my primary workstation crapped out afte...

Re: My next Forgotten Realms reading material

Moonshea trilogy as fun, nothing special but a good read. I also like the pools and finder series, I think I might pull those ones out and read them again, it's been awhile :)

Re: Balance between players

See, I disagree. More static content is the answer. DMs can adjust downward if people are over standards just like they can adjust upward. Its probably easier to identify the few who are over standards actually because they farm or have seen a disproportionate amount of DM time or whatever. Give pe...

This is really good, would you mind if I used it in a module (with credit given of course)?

I forgot about that server, it was awesome. I remember the first time I took Kemeras out for a bit of a server stroll. Hit some Zombies in the swamp and night and turned right around and ran back to DD :)

Re: Balance between players

All farming and playing alone does is make your roleplaying weak. The more you do it, the less you remember to practice basic IC social skills that are essential with alfa. It's a repetitve obessesive complusive activity that ultimate leads to character death and more illgeal behaviors that exploit...
