Re: Self-nominations for Player Admin now open

Alright.

I'm ballonger. I've been a member since 2004 I think. I hereby run for PA.

Best regards.

Re: Time Compression Trial: Feedback

I missed this whole trial unfortunately. I have been advocating and arguing for a change to slower time ratio for years. Strangely enough the only answers from the "opposite camp" that I've recieved has been without arguments to back them up. Like Vendrin's above. Ven, no offense but why d...

Re: Missing for years but have returned!

GeLeah.. wow. Long time. Good to see you again. You wouldn't remember me, of course. I was just getting started back then, and couldn't make US times too much. Sorry to hear you're not really jousting. I recall seeing that pic at times and thinking "man, I gotta tell her how much I admire her f...

Re: NWN2 Adventure Packs

So I just got a news mail from Atari today where they said Mysteries of Westgate was available exclusively for download. Have anyone tried this yet? I didn't get if it was released now or what. Sorry to hear you missed the job GF. Would've been cool to have ALFA-members in deep. ;) (would that have ...

Re: NWN2: Deviations from 3.5

You folks aren't forgetting to check if the classes have been tweaked for forgotten realms in particular? There are several classes that work differently from the core rules in the Forgotten Realms. There are those article series you know. Hm. I looked that series up now and Spirit Shaman is not one...

Re: NWN2: Deviations from 3.5

Feel free to move the thread, one last point: some may have missed Veilan's suggested compromise, which is to automatically give average HPs for HD past 1st level. This eliminates the potential for 'abuse' by players or DMs, eliminates the chance of low rolls, is more balanced for all classes, is s...

Re: Quantum of Solace

Read the books and see the error of your ways. :P Casino Royale is the closest movie to its source material. Dalton tried to bring the "real" Bond to the movies and failed, but now they finally have with the rebooting. It makes me happy. I liked the old movies fine, but the old formula ha...

Re: Quantum of Solace

That's weird. It's always been we who've been backwater and never getting grand openings until after the rest of the world (especially the states) have already seen the movie. Not the other way around.

Quantum of Solace

So I saw it at the Cinema almost twelve hours ago. :D I liked the movie "Finding Neverland", by the same director. He makes very pretty movies for sure. Very stylish. The new Bond-movie no exception. I do feel however that the new Bond-movie is less dark and gritty and bad than the first w...
