Let me start my throw of the dice- I mean two cents- by saying I have absolutely no desire whatsoever to play a Favored Soul, or Warlock for that matter but my concern for their inclusion is based on something else altogether. We all joined ALFA as role players looking for a hard core role playing c...

First, like Twin Axes, I want to say that, while being personally dissapointed in missing the battle I think, for the most part the TSM DMs have done a great job of engaging in and keeping the server community active. Nothing is ever going to be handled in a way that pleases everyone, but the fact t...

Just to chime in again on the Flee the Scene issue... I wrote earlier about what I thought the major concern with it was without really advocating a postion one way or the other, which actually makes it seem like I think its overpowered. However, my own thinking is really more in line with Mangonush...

I think the main argument against Flee The Scene isn't how well it affects a solo warlock but how, when grouped, a warlock can become a haste battery. So in some ways a solo test won't really solve it but it needs to be a test where a warlock in the party continually spamming flee the scene makes th...

Actually one of the things that kind of bothers me about TSM (and please take this with a grain of salt this is the best server I've played on as far as players, detailed maps and landscapes and DM interaction) is that you can't seem to get wizard scrolls outside of joining the Academy. There are st...

Tried logging into Skullport to run around a bit today and after character creation it booted me saying I had a list of mssing haks.

I play on TSM all the time so I assume my regualr ALFA haks are up to date. Are there Skullport specific ones? And if so, where do I get them?

Having a 14 tumble as a 2 rogue/warlock, with zero bab I might add, pretty much measn you won't get hit most of the time while running away from stuff in melee range that you can't hit back... And the 24 dex means that by level 3 you've got about the same chance of hitting with you eldrich blast as ...

I think, and I could be wrong so forgive me if I am, the original post is mostly in reference to people standing guard at the rivermoot gates and spending most of their time afk and/or in irc. AFK's happen, its just the nature of online gaming, and my experience with ALFA is that most players and DM...

Actually Helios... that's a greta idea, in my opinion anyway. It doesn't have to be anything economy breaking, but if you take the much pit for example, where there are bodies and broken wagons theoretically dragged inside by raiding goblins, a few simple, mundane sellable items would actually make ...

Okay I should have phrased the question, 'outside of the academy...' Was just hoping I wouldn't have to make the walk to purchase a scroll or two.

I think Mulu has a good point and it goes a long way towards benefitting ALFA in general by ensuring a healthy player base. As an older player people should remember, ALFA is known (rightly or wrongly) as a high exclusive RP server, and it is one of the few that actually takes some work to join the ...
