Also: Welcome back, person I don't think I ever met! Hi Nick! :) Hey dude. Hello Nick! I think I remember Soppi from Shadowdale so its good to see you debating a comeback :-) NickD. Great to see you, mate. RL has had me (and most others it seems) away from the game, but I do have hopes regarding ge...

Re: How many Alfans have YOU met?
NickD? Really? Are you sure ? Not that I can dispute you since I only vaguely remember going to the hostel, so I'll have to take your word for it. I could have sworn it was Rotku ... or Regas ... or some other "R" name, but then, I can't really remember. Well, OK, it was NickD then. I was...

Heya
I'm pretty sure Gruu's still hanging out in Baldur's Gate waiting on the magical armour she's already paid for, but the magic shop guy/DM completely forgot about. However, I see there's some kind of multiple PC allowance these days. I've got a couple of other low level, low combat, RP characters I'v...

Re: DM Requests
I would like to schedule a time to pick up my magic armour. Paazin DMed my transaction with Gruu in late May, where she handed over her non-magic mithral armour and paid [censored]gp in full for her +[censored] mithral armour at the Red Wizard building in Baldur's Gate. I have sent Paazin a copy of ...
Re: RWC 2011
Now look again the final and count the number of fouls made by McCaw in rugs and the number of fools that caused penalties. I won't doubt you. McCaw is well known for pushing the limits. He has admitted in the past that he tests the referee to see what he can get away with, and considers it...
Re: RWC 2011
The All Blacks choked. Again. Stephen Donald is being hailed as a hero, but his winning penalty kick was right in front of the goal posts and he almost missed... Fortunately we managed to hold out against the French, who really picked their game up and were just 1 drop kick away from winning. Perhap...

Gromnir was the "Ha! Good Fun!" guy. I think he was the guy who believed homosexuality was just a phase some people go through. Or that might have been Kalbar.
He was on the Bioware forums long after he left ALFA.

But you pinko euros just want to hide behind us Americans all while pointing at us and calling us murderous barbarians! I'd like...

Re: WIP: Non Lethal Damage - UPDATED
IIRC, there is the occassional issue where a weapon doesn't have the -5 property removed after subdual, but the fix is as simple as dropping and picking up the weapon. When integrating subdual more into the servers, people should keep in mind that characters with DR only very rarely take any subdual...

Re: Charter Revisions
No. My argument is I don't want to be the one to tell people all the hard work that they have done (note the past tense) should go to scrap. I think a better method would be to restrict what can be done in future. The basic argument I was referring to was more the argument that you can't dictate wh...

Re: Charter Revisions
Glad he did too, as must you be glad for his initiative since you seem to be enjoying his server quite a bit now. Thanks Ayergo You are totally forgetting the fact that for the better part of ALFAs NWN2 live time, BG was a total basket case that was, at best, an unfinished mess that was not even cl...

Re: Charter Revisions
I remember arguing a lot before NWN2 even came out that we need to start with a very small number of servers and only grow as the population could support it. I said we should only have 4 servers in ALFA's first year and grow slowly from there. I was working off an assumption that a server wou...

Re: DM & Player Props
I would like to give props to the server. It's grown heaps since I last played here and has seen the welcome return of the static treasure hunt quests and a number of new statics. I'm also stoked that things are random and dangerous enough at night that Gruu has almost been killed three times in the...
