Regarding those wonky walkmeshes:

It's been a while since I DMd but , iirc, any of the non-linked caves that have significant irregularity of their floor surfaces can't be walked in or fought in normally.

If i'm not mistaken the areas are named somewhere else, and elsewhere or something. I'll check in a bit.

Edit: area names:
Somewhere - water cave (somewherewatercave)
Somewhere - else (somewhereElseCave)

You put Aglaril's +5 Longsword of Holy Uberness in there as I recall. :mrgreen:
Formerly: Aglaril Shaelara, Faerun's unlikeliest Bladesinger
Current main: Ky - something

Should be fixed now.

Nice try, Ith. :/

And once a character recovers from the disease, lost attributes should be healed back at the rate of 1 point every 24 hours.

Getting magical healing or enhanced healthcare can increase the recovery rate.

Lady's College.

At some point after doing enchantment class, all the other College Masters think my character is too high a level to do their quests. I am only level 3, but am playing a sorceress.

Random Encounters on the overland map, particularly in Silvy Pass East the Hawk's nest seem bugged.

Three times in a row now, The encounter dialogue script will fire ("timber wolves lope to the east. You move to the best defensive position you can find"), but then nothing happens. My PC just keeps walking along.

If Hully is moving in stealth, there is a good chance the wolves may not Spot him.

I suppose that is a possibility but it also happened just this morning (same location) in a party of 4 moving open and loud.

The meaningful question is "what the party leader stealthed?" and the handling for "perceptive/stealthy leader directs massive/noisy party away from danger" is very simple. And yeah you totally don't get a message about it when you do it.

I don't think this has anything to do with stealth; we've been seeing it fairly regularly for a while now with non stealth PCs.

I'm with Ith. I think stealth is a red herring here. I generally do not travel the overland in stealth and absolutely was not stealthed as party leader in a group.

Oh, yup, there it is.

Code: Select all

if(iPartyStealthHide < GetLocalInt(OBJECT_SELF, "iPartyStealthHide"))
{
    SetLocalInt(OBJECT_SELF, "iPartyStealthHide", iPartyStealthHide);
}
int iPartyStealthMS = GetSkillRank(SKILL_MOVE_SILENTLY, oPartyMember, FALSE);
if(iPartyStealthMS < GetLocalInt(OBJECT_SELF, "iPartyStealthMS"))
{
    SetLocalInt(OBJECT_SELF, "iPartyStealthMS", iPartyStealthMS);
}
And that never gets cleared out, and that local gets used later to determine avoiding encounters.

So, yeah. You can avoid encounters because someone else before you was stealthed. Totes a bug.

I probably did something wrong since I bet this would have been reported long before now, but...

My PC did the Courier quest to Fourth Peak to deliver to Davigny and the head guy in the Vault of Sages does not believe me. I do have a witness: Twin Axes saw me do it.

The reason I am betting it was just me messing up is that I suspect that Davigny told me to pick up a package to take back, but I was in the middle of a conversation with Twin Axe's PC and just speed-read over the dialogue.

So, just mark this down as something to keep an eye out for, I guess.
