Hey, I was sent to Q today and I did have the Waterdeep Visa.
I did an wexamine of the monolith that is right there in front of you and it says something like, "if you are here by mistake, use the exit behind you." Well, there is a set of stairs - not exactly behind you, but if you walk to the right -that lead to a cave and sure enough, you can AT from there to the Adventurer's Quarters.
Hopefully, this will work for you.
(Of course, we are in PvP here OGR, so you are taking a chance that I am sending Kiir to a very nasty death. Do you feel lucky punk?)

Sorry for not seeing this sooner.
Could be a few things:
1) you have to leave time between portalling. The vault seems extra slow these days so I recommend at least 10 mins
2) Your location was saved as Q previously. You should be able to use the escape hatch WW describes above.
