Re: ACR v1.92 Update
Just. Chill.
Seriously.
Seriously.
Formerly: Aglaril Shaelara, Faerun's unlikeliest Bladesinger
Current main: Ky - something
It’s not the critic who counts...The credit belongs to the man who actually is in the arena, who strives violently, who errs and comes up short again and again...who if he wins, knows the triumph of high achievement, but who if he fails, fails while daring greatly.-T. Roosevelt

Who's not chill?
Does the internetz add a grumbly voice and red eyes to everything I write?
I think the work is great, kudos for all, what does that go to do with adding a feat? I think it's an easy solution for the time being that will make everyone happy (and unless im wrong) easy to do.
It will allow tech to fix things in their own good time and allow players to play as if nothing has happened.
Hence why I ask why over complicate things?

<paazin>: internet relationships are really a great idea

((If you would like a horse, talk to me in chat, and as a DM I will sell you one for your riding pleasure, even from the Quarantine))

Do the horses come in My Little Pony skins?
You promised, for April Fools!
Seriously though, great work Zelknolf.

Re: ACR v1.92 Update
All of the other stuff going on in this thread aside, I want to shout out a HUGE THANKYOU to Zelk and any other member of tech that made horses a reality in ALFA. I thank you. My paladin PC thanks you. The Tuigan Horde PC I have thinking about playing for a long time thanks you. The Narfell warrior I have often dreamed about thanks you. This is huge. Thanks so so much.
If its all an April Fools joke I hate you. =P
If it isn't I'll be begging a DM on BG to sell one to my Pally next I log in.

Re: ACR v1.92 Update
The intended April Fool's joke was going to be that I would claim that horse models of the characters from My Little Pony were simply too technically superior to those provided by RWS to ignore, and that I'd thus taken some from those made for Gary's mod to implement in ALFA (likely with a doctored screenshot making it appear that Persephone was riding Princess Luna).
Alas, the backup I had hoped to have to make the sale on said claim didn't materialize near the end, so I had no prank, only regular horses.

Re: ACR v1.92 Update
Icarium on BG, and Fumir and Thais on MS do not have the Mount/Dismount feat. Is there a number I can get for it to givefeat xxxx please?
Re: ACR v1.92 Update
It is 3740, but you're probably better off setting ACR_CONVERSION_MAXIMUM to 1.9201 on the module; that'll force conversions out of people logging in, and will save you from lots of manual adjustments to lots of characters.
I'll look into that when I'm back in town. Probably the same release and/or build issue that robbed the swanky new feats of their icons.

Re: ACR v1.92 Update
I know this isn't the place for it, but the feat is bugged, possibly just for paladins and/or assimar. When I mount a horse it looks like the horse is mounting my PC and I just dropped acid. (ie the horse is all distorted visually)
Re: ACR v1.92 Update
It's all correctly-made PC planetouched, and some quantity of the NPC planetouched (though the ones it does work for probably need to be fixed in the toolset, as they have the wrong racial type). It'll be fixed when I get the next round out.
Re: ACR v1.92 Update
How does a DM go about using the horses with NPCs? I haven't figured this one out yet.

Re: ACR v1.92 Update
Any NPC with the mount/dismount feat can mount any horse (even those owned by PCs, but that's mean so you should just spawn one to have them mount).
