So... It seems we lack the player density to get a large number of new PCs. I plan to prioritize DM time with level 1-3 PCs when they are available in numbers, otherwise I will ad hoc DM as planned. Off to a decent start, but will have to put off my original ideas and stick to DMing whomever is actually logged in.

Now that my Player Admin term is up, I am going to focus on DMing more often. I have re-read a few threads from last year that remind me what I enjoy playing and I am going to focus on doing the things I enjoy most. So that said:
I want to ad hoc DM on BG Sunday through Friday nights between 9pm to 11pm CST (that is from 3am until 5am for GMT folks). I am reserving Saturday nights for my campaign group on TSM. I am also free to DM on WHL and MS though, so those are both options.
Secondly, I will be focusing on low level play. I will prioritize new level one PCs, followed by level 2 and 3 PCs. Anything of significance will come with a story attached as far as items are concerned. If you are concerned with level advancement and magic gear please do not roll up a PC to play with me.
I really enjoy permadeath, and enjoy playing games with a hardcore mode where my characters get deleted if I die. The nice thing about low level play is that if your PC dies, you can immediately rejoin with a new low level toon. I am not forming a campaign at this point and want to support ALFA as a persistent world style of DM, so if you die you should be able to immediately rejoin next session.
If you run a lot of statics and buy lots of magic gear in a shop, do not plan on getting much XP or gear from me. In fact, XP awards will be kept to a minimum and magic awards will be designed around a story and to be powerful and important. I'd really like to diversify our item offerings to lowbie PCs. We have a new loot randomizer that makes an awesome variety of stuff for level 1 PCs.
I am going to prioritize BG for this new effort as I am the HDM there. However I will try to DM elsewhere if things are slow on BG. If you are interested in a high RP, high risk game with a low level PC, slow advancement, "magic is special" DM style, please let me know and show up with a level 1 PC.
Final note: Your starting region matters. Please click on the BG House Rules thread in my sig to read about regional bonus equipment for level 1 PCs.

Some of us prefer having a consistent character who grows and establishes themselves within the world, but I do wish all of you luck who enjoy this sort of thing.
First Character: Zyrus Meynolt, the serene Water Genasi berserker. "I am the embodiment of the oceans; serene until you summon the storm." Zyrus: http://tinyurl.com/9emdbnd
Second Character: Damien Collins, the atypical druid. "What? Being a stick in the mud is boring. No pun intended grins"
Western Heartlands HDM: On break. PM for emergencies
Also, after chatting with OGR some more I think I will concentrate on level 1-3 PCs primarily. I would also like to run things out of the Elfsong Tavern if interested parties want to meet up there for sessions. Also, if anyone has any suggestions for ideas please send them my way. I will come up with stuff on my own but would be happy to work other ideas into the mix if anyone has them.
Looks like the next batch of lowbie PCs will be playing within a good or LG style of plot with me. Not planning on it being a full on campaign, but should be more of a PW style of ongoing and related plots for a good group. The concept is:
"Good guys campaigning to slay evil creatures plaguing the land."
If you want to roll up a new PC on BG, new stuffs should be starting this week I think. I think we've got a paladin and cleric for starters, a mage and rogue would be some nice [good guy] additions. Though it might be more fun if they aren't LG just to mix up the RP a bit.
