Portraits by HEEGZ

Post by HEEGZ »

I am curious if anyone is interested in having a portrait taken of their PC? I have had a lot of fun making them for my two PCs. The way it would work is that you would need to log into BG (or WHL) and I would make a copy of your PC. I could then possess it and move it to a location and take a portrait of it. I do some cropping and editing on all of the pictures I've taken of ALFA this year.

Below are two example shots of portrait sessions I've had with my PCs. I could do a similar body shot, a close up head and shoulder shot, or some sort of action scene (not necessarily combat, think PC tools emotes). Anyways, all that would be required is that you log in with the appearance you want for your PC, and any gear you've customized and want to be in the image. Here are three of my PC avatars:

Xavier Ryll

Tiernan Sgot

Rhone Bloodmaiden

I would prefer to only do a single portrait per character. If you are interested, please post in this thread with a description of what kind of background you might want, and if you want a body, head, or action shot. I can probably come up with something interesting on my own if you aren't feeling creative. As an added bonus I can also make a small version that you can use for your forum avatar like this:

So... any interest?

I'd love one! I realized as I was taking my own that I run my game on low graphics and probably no matter what I do I won't get a really good pic myself

I shudder to ponder what NWN2 stock elves look like with higher graphics settings than what I run.

Not sure if we can get heads changed for existing PCs. Supposedly there is a NPC on BG that can change them. If anyone knows anything about this NPC please PM me. Also, I am still free to do this at will, but need to coordinate with people individually, with the weekend being the best time for me.

Do you recall the name of it? If I knew what to look for I am sure I can figure it out.

Appearance Changer (it looks like a flying book). You just talk to it and it changes the base model. It is not fool proof though. It might need to be updated with the new model numbers after my test today. The last four female elf head #s did not switch models on MS.
