Rumor has it there was a murder at the Satyr in Silverymoon. Supposedly a human woman's cider was poisoned and she dropped dead from her barstool. Word is the killer is still at large, and the South Bank Constabulary has yet to identify the body.

The citizens of Silverymoon were treated to a most amazing sight this past afternoon: In the middle of the day, a large creature suddenly took flight from the palace courtyard, only to circle the city once and land in the front of the palace, near the market. Those nearby swear the creature was a silver-scaled dragon, and what more, witnesses attest to their local golden-haired Knight in Silver and gnomish Spellguard climbing atop the dragon's neck, and as quickly as it came, being whisked off towards the north.

Knights in Silver posted at the Hunters Gate and at Hawksnest are warning travelers that there have been multiple reports of giants moving in Silverymoon Pass, between Hawksnest and Sundabar.

A number of troops have been dispatched to the area.

The halfling mused on the directions and chewed on the tip of his pipe.

"A Vault full o' Sages, ye say? Queer they'd keep 'em all locked up but ..... ifn ye say so. Down te river, o'er the bridge an' up hill te the left. Gots it!"

Hully thanked Ethan, the legionaire and woodsman with whom he had travelled the last stretch of road to Silverymoon, and made his way through the City. He was struck over and again by how clean it was. Silverymoon was already like no other place he had ever seen ....and then he saw the Moonbridge.

"Sune's sweet teets! he whisted in awe at his first viewing of the ethereal, mystical span across the river. "This be sumthin' awright, Hully. I bet they gots the loringest Loremasters in Faerun e'er somewhere in this City....they gots to."

After some initial trepidation with setting foot on the bridge, Hulurin Tossscobble made his way to the south side of the span and went seeking wisdom from Sages of Silverymoon.

traders and merchants coming from Sundabar report that it seems the dwarfs have handled the issues of their darker skinned cousins that have plagued the eastroad for many month

short dialog heard at the caravan base:
- had me forth route this morn an good it was, not a damn robber in sight
-thats exellent news my good sir and fellow trader but how is the market out east?
-still crap but it should turn for the better I guess

Knights of silver still warn folks that the road beyond Hawks nest is unsafe and will post a declaration at both gates and inns once the situation have changed as the matter is looked into.

Rumor has it that the plague that has been troubling folk is caused by followers of Lathander! Apparently members of the clergy have been having trouble sleeping, fearing they will be consumed by the coming dawn. It is reported that these individuals are so frantic they have resorted to taking their own lives. Surely this is heresy?

Rumors is spreading that some thiefs have managed to steal several magical items...

The university had sent a spellguard-rider with a small strongbox with some magical items to aid Felbarr defenses against the duergars and giants but somewhere between Hawks nest and Auvendell the rider dissapeared and so did the strongbox.

Guards at Hawks nest report seeing a "group of three" riding hard towards Sundabar just after the spellguard had left the fort after changing horse for a fresh one but the guards didnt think much of it as these days everyone needing to use the eastroad do so as fast as possible to not give the giants time to aim their throwing boulders which sofar claimed over 20 lifes.

The university claim no magical items been lost !

A group of silverymoon smithes been seen discussing at the local bar

-NPC 1: I had a group of dwarfs today at me shop, they bought up all me nuggets of the rarer metals at prime price and then they was willing to pay extra for more if I could arrange more.

-NPC 2: That happend to me yesterday. they even bought my weapons and shields having even the smallest bit of Mithril in them. They payed top gold and Im happy but have a shop with little to sell for now...I think you will have a hard time earning extra mate, I heard the dwarfs been all over town buying

-NPC 1: really?

-NPC 3: I sold them two maces of darksteel, my finest items. I managed to get them from a trader who had been up the Mithril hall before they closed their gate.

-NPC 1: yeah.. darksteel, mithril and adamantine, anything else was of no intrest to them and I did show them a masterworked longsword from Baldursgate specially made to fight undead I was told.

-NPC 2: I asked them why they spend so much gold when they forge themself and have more miles of mines up the mountains then we have folks within the walls but all they said in reply was a grunt. I bet it have something to do with the trouble out east

-NPC 3: I think they need equipp all them knights and guards that been sent out east, who know what foul magic and defenses them dark skinned dwarfs have... maybe the rarer metals is needed to even penetrate the armors.

-NPC 1: no way.. the knight are proper equipped, I forged some of it myself. Finest steel and some worked to hold magicken powers...

the group spent alot of gold on drinks and the longer the evening went the more the group speculated over the reasons as why the dwarf been buying back most if not all the goods they originally sold or traded... in the end the three smithes sounded like the finest forgers in the whole world...

The name "Roland Bishop" is on everyones lips.

Apparently the man has openly apologised to a certain miss Persephone for his lapse in judgement, wit and understanding. Throughout a day of quality oratory work he proclaimed the virtues of miss Persephone and recanted his perceived slander of her, claiming that like everyone else has done in their lives, he has made a terrible mistake. Attoning for his guilt via charity to the common folk, they enjoyed the bread, drink and coins he offered them in way of thanks for listening to his heavy heart.

He was well received and is now considered the pinnacle of what it means to be a "good fellow" among the common folk. Already clerics of Sune have quoted him as an example of forgiveness when young love meets its inevitable rocky patch. . .

It becomes quickly apparent to the merchants of Silverymoon that an the elf by the name of Elenaril, reputedly a swordsman of some skill as well as a student of the arcane is interested in purchasing Adamantine, some are heard in taverns laughing at the absurdity of it, when the dwarves have only recently purchased near all of the available stock in the city.

An elf of the same discription is seen at the Vault of sages and at the Ladys College as well as by other elves at the Everdusk, often he has a notebook in hand, writing in a delicate script. The more observant folk that see him note that the books he's reading seem to deal with the forging of blades, as well as unusual materials. At the vault he's noted to be reading books concerning the smiths of Myth Drannor.

Militia men near Rauvinwatch also overhear him speaking to a man, mentioning other rare and unusual materials he seeks.

Those that recognise him as the same elf so often involved in local affairs also note that of late he has not carried a blade at his side and has taken to wearing dark robes instead of the forst green that most were accustomed to him wearing.

Likely the same Persephone, Champion of Selune, who is well renowned throughout the Silver Marches for her efforts in fighting a variety of scourges, including a Giant incursion in Khelb to a ressurgence of Malarites in the Moonwood.

guards from Hawksnest have rescued two caravans filled with children that was sent out from Sundabar in a safety action for the ever growing threat around Felbarr.
The caravan was bound for Khelb and silverymoon.

the two caravans cought the awareness of the guards thanks to the sound of crashing boulders hurled after them and hawksnest imidiatly went for their aid.

they report both caravans was given extra protection for Khelb aswell as five killed hillgiants that have been put to the torch.

Smoke and flames could be seen across Silverymoon coming from Rhyster Martins, a large crowd of common folk mulled about outside, paniced voices shouting alarm.

If not for a small group of local adventurers the Dawnbringers and their acolytes would have been slain. A Gnome with a goatee, taken to wearing cloaks was said to be one, a few named him as Frin. A relative newcomer to the city by the name of Azra was another, the third was the local wizard and warrior, an elf by the name of Elenaril. The last was a man with a scarred face, he was said to almost cook in his armour at one point - this one is known as Slate.

Slate and Elenaril were seen to carry out multiple acolytes even rushing back in when two more were said to be missing, earning the temples thanks. Though of course in such a terrible time no monetary reward was given, all the priests were saved.

The group were seen heading to the Golden Oak afterward for a wash and some food, troubled looks at what they'd heard of the cause on their faces.

Kobold attacks around Rivermoot have grown more bold in the last ride.

Arronal, one of the local milita, was killed when a trap made of sharpened shard of tree trunk triggerred by a trip wire gutted him through while investigating a nearby canyon from where the kobolds had staged their most recent attack.

Locals reported seeing flashes of arcane fire and the ringing of pitched battle as a group of sellswords, led by a holy warrior of Torm, pressed back a pack of the creatures.

Hoytil Jorwin, the octogenarian fisherman whi has spent his entire life in Rivermoot remarked "By the gods! There haven't been so many kobolds coming out since '44, that's sure!"

Lizardmen attacked near the inn across the river from High Hold.
A yound priest and a man with a burned face brought two bodies to the temple
of the Red Knight at the Hold.

Apperantly the the pair fought off about two dozen lizards.
It is still unclear what caused the lizardmen to stir.
