Game Requirements

Post by Rotku »

Would someone be able to point me towards what is currently required to play (both NWN1 and NWN2), in regards to haks etc. I believe we are using WorldGate for NWN2, right? Are there instructions anywhere on the site for this?

Just trying to compile this info for the AMP.

Currently my mirror is down. Trying to sort out why my webpage is down and what I need to do to fix it.

- for NWN2 we use WorldGate.
You can find some instructions on how to use it here:
http://www.alandfaraway.org/phpbbforum/ ... hp?t=38219

- for NWN1 you should have the haks and tlk mentioned here:
http://www.alandfaraway.org/docs/Player/ALFAHaks

The NWN2 information isn't up to date in the wiki.
I'll copy/paste AL post at the beginning of it.

Edit: okay the NWN2 information should now be up to date here:
http://www.alandfaraway.org/docs/Player/ALFAHaks2

I've done some minor edits on that page - those extra mirrors were too outdated to be of much help for players. I'll get a direct download link for the current TSM PWC file up in a bit as well.

Thanks to Hialmar for getting that page going.

The Worldgate seemed to work pretty slick. Won't be able to test it by logging in until tonight.

Do we need any overrides?

No overrides needed (unless you're building in the toolset and want to use some of the extra tilesets and such).

Adding link to the TSM PWC now as well.
