I would also be happy to do some toolset training GP..

I have a group of 16 or so areas in the Dragonspine Mts with the Citadel of the Raven in I can send you with just the mapped areas laid out in YATT and a canon picture of the 8 mile long Citadel.. or there's the Mount Tesh/Teshwave village/Tesh River region that I could lay out for you...

I remember that Zhent fortress in the mountains you did for Whitehorn.. that absolutely rocked! in fact, every thing you did for Whitehorn absolutely rocked, the best vistas of any module and definitely the inspiration for my own building.

Yeah, it's ugly.

It may not work in truth, but it's a quick and easy way of covering a massive dungeon complex. My focus is on Skullport and the Dock Ward for now, and Undermountain after that. UM is so massive that I din't even want to think about it seriously until after SP and WD are functioning to at least a small degree.

I actually love the interor tilesets, and they are clearly the way to build a final version.

GP, I'l look for you around the place during UK hours.

Might also be worth checking out the nwn2mapper plugin, which attempts to convert nwn1 interiors to nwn2 interiors- Marklos had some success using it I believe- but if we've got whole layers of undermountain built for NWN1, it may be feasible to convert and clean them up, rather than building from scratch.

Just a thought- might free up builders to spend time re-envisioning choice areas instead of being mired in the minutia of re-building from the ground up (down?).

Good idea AL.

And to endorse Thang's praise of GP's building....if GP does decide to do some building, we'd be very lucky indeed. GP's work was inspired and the object of much envy amongst builders young and old.

Skullport moves along. Got the lighting sorted, rased the central level a smidge, and added some textures. I've also finished dividing up the Dock Ward atop Undermountain, so I imagine very soon we'll be able to get some beta 1 action. Ive got a decent chance of getting that ready by the end of next week.

Night time in Skullport... where it's always night time.

So... all the time in Skullport.

I say unto you, Indio, you are a silly, ridiculous person.

Carry on!

I really can't put the lid on yet. The lid will go on. But not yet. Unil then, it's starry, starry night in Skullport.

I'm going to be working on Dock Ward for the afternoon and will post screens when 'm done.

Starry, starry night.
Paint your palette blue and grey,
Look out on a summer's day,
With eyes that know the darkness in my soul.
Shadows on the hills,
Sketch the trees and the daffodils,
Catch the breeze and the winter chills,
In colors on the snowy linen land.

Now I understand what you tried to say to me,
How you suffered for your sanity,
How you tried to set them free.
They would not listen, they did not know how.
Perhaps they'll listen now.

Starry, starry night.
Flaming flowers that brightly blaze,
Swirling clouds in violet haze,
Reflect in Vincent's eyes of china blue.
Colors changing hue, morning field of amber grain,
Weathered faces lined in pain,
Are soothed beneath the artist's loving hand.

Now I understand what you tried to say to me,
How you suffered for your sanity,
How you tried to set them free.
They would not listen, they did not know how.
Perhaps they'll listen now.

For they could not love you,
But still your love was true.
And when no hope was left in sight
On that starry, starry night,
You took your life, as lovers often do.
But I could have told you, Vincent,
This world was never meant for one
As beautiful as you.

Starry, starry night.
Portraits hung in empty halls,
Frameless head on nameless walls,
With eyes that watch the world and can't forget.
Like the strangers that you've met,
The ragged men in the ragged clothes,
The silver thorn of bloody rose,
Lie crushed and broken on the virgin snow.

Now I think I know what you tried to say to me,
How you suffered for your sanity,
How you tried to set them free.
They would not listen, they're not listening still.
Perhaps they never will...
Keep on keepin on, Indio, it looks fuggin awesome. I can't wait to walk the catwalk.

Burt's gonna tell me again that it's not dirty enough, but this is the southern edge of the Castle Ward looking south at the Dock Ward, right outside the Yawning Portal.

I got stuck fixing things instead of dressing things up, but that's all I've got time for today.

I've got the exterior above SKullport mostly finished, Yawning Portal interior built and will link it to a few mini-layers of Undermountain that I'll work on today and tomorrow.

If only elchip were around.
